yes, I just saw all the great cards MC has recently listed. the contenders has only been up for 10 hours and already has 39 bids and is up to $20.2k!

it happens to be the same grade as mine.

man, just 6-8 months ago those were selling for $18-$20k. Brady rookies are flying high right now!!

No need to look in the rearview mirror from 10 years ago. I ensure anyone that if they buy wisely right now & end up holding, the ride from Sept 13th, 2025 to Sept 13th, 2035 could end up being just as wild & border life-changing.

I think a lot of folks see the way things seem to be going in KC right now as a whole. Next year has some serious implications & obligations as well. The debate could fall off a cliff faster than Mike Trout’s career did. Not rooting for it by any means, but Mahomes needs some serious help on both sides. And thats not even accounting for Reids likely departure just 3 years after that. He’s a KC icon. Hell, a national icon if you ask me. Rather have a beer with him than Bill every day of the week.


Getting back on track with last few posts, I started going in on Brady post-covid. To resonate what davey just said about “flying off the shelf”, I can actually see & feel my 3 year buying season coming to a close.

And its not by the day. Its by the auction. Its that eye-opening. I literally have to go in and delete the “ended” section of my “watch list” on a weekly basis these days. Usually only had to do it once a month, granted, I watch a lot of things just to have a pulse on whats moving. But still. Stuff is flying. I see stuff get listed at hefty BINs and the next day, somebody has already smashed the BIN button. Thus resulting in another flooding of the “item is no longer available” list. Its amazing & fun to watch but sucks major balls simultaneously. Its conflicting for sure.

Thoughts on the rookie preview BGS 10/9? Already past $4k

Not a contenders auto of course, but it’s sort of up there as far as rookie autos go

So many of those prices are already getting up there with like 9 days left lol

couldnt agree more. I am also conflicted. it is fun to watch cards you already own skyrocket in price, but honestly, I am a collector not a dealer/speculator. i guess I would rather have prices lower so i could afford it all. there are some cards i hve been looking at that are rapidly leaving my budget.

i can see this trend continue like you do. it seems many consider mahomes the only current player with a chance to dethrone the goat (I do not) i find it highly unlikely that pat will have a more successful second half to his career than the first half. that is what he would need to do in order to pass brady.

when that does not happen, i feel like much more $ will be going into brady cards. trout ruled the card market for a decade, and now look at where he is. no one would have guessed it 5 years ago. now patty is on the wrong side of 30.

time will tell.

Feel like folks are storing some 2000 Hobby boxes away(or simply ripping them), because not as many pop up on eBay like they were during Covid

I’m not rooting against the Chiefs by any means, but I think it may be a Jordan Love year considering the proper protocol, the foundation there in GB coupled with the last minute moves they made on D. Liking that Kraft kid on TE already.

i am admittedly pretty biased, but i like listening to him. it sure cannot hurt to have him continue on in the public eye and not just fade away.

it was fun watching him sling one to gronk during the pregame show as well.

he is definitely doing better than Brees did in his attempt at commentating.

Lol, really though their schedule is tough this year! They won’t have home field but I mean chances are they’ll be in the playoffs

If they win 3 straight road playoff games and the SB and Mahomes looks
