And we will be in an even worse recession - the job losses have just started.

Burger flippers won't be able to afford the $200 price tag.
Honestly nothing better than seeing this guy and his hateful comments being dead wrong

There are a handful of people's opinions that I value such h as TBP and Superman B.

Any that end in 13 are out along with hermanomonpia

Hottest product of the year for $200 still sounds cheap to me. I personally think these see $300 very soon because there's no inventory out there.

Recently stumbled upon a basketball PC card for a fair price and pulled the trigger on it.

After much thought, I decided to trim down on my Logofractor stash (a "sealed" case from the MLB store) to cover the cost of the card.

Though I felt bad cracking a case of something I wanted to hold for the long-term, PC cards always win over sealed wax "investments" plays. It also provides me a little reassurance knowing that I'll still be able to hold some loose Logofractor boxes for the long-term (though it won't be the same cool feeling as owning a "sealed" case).

In case anyone wanted to know, which many of you probably don't because this is a baseball thread, here's the basketball PC card I picked up. I owned a different copy in 2018 but unfortunately sold it. Once the pandemic hit, prices were out of reach and I never thought I'd be able to land one for a fair price. Glad prices have come down, and I honestly don't care where they go from this point for this card, just happy to re-own a copy in my collection.

Why did you keep writing sealed in quotations? Was it sealed or “sealed”?

The other two cases I received from the MLB Store were only opened by employees to insert the sell order invoice ("sealed" case). Interestingly, the (third) case I just opened might've truly been sealed because I haven't noticed a sell order invoice yet. I also haven't dug through the case in search of it, just grabbed the boxes I sold and closed it back up.

Haven’t flipped your entire stash yet?

I was told these would be $300 a box by now.

Still selling for about $175-$200.

But the guys who bought at $200 are wondering why they haven’t seen any profits yet.
