Boban is a straight liability on the defensive side that's why he doesn't play more. He's good for a few 5 minute stretches where he can score easy buckets and grab a few rebounds but he's just not reliable for long periods of play.

I love the Drummond idea but why not just wait until the offseason when he's an UFA? Unless you can work a sign and trade deal but do you really want Drummonds salary number to limit the rest of your roster makeup?

It all comes down to KP really. A max contract guy who isn't playing anywhere near the level they need him to. He was playing well at the end of last season and hopefully he needs some more time. He's only played 9 games and in those 9 games they were missing half the team to support each other.

Tonight may be the first time all season with a full roster even though Kleber may be on restrictions. They need some time gel and settle in before they go haywire on the trade market.

Ya’ll remember LBJ’s early years with those trash teams? I’d say he still ended up doing alright...don’t get caught up in the now. The kid is special and his long term future card value is still the brightest of ANY current NBA player.

I finally got my hands on one. I have 3 red Elite PSA 9's too but I'd been eyeing the blue for awhile

Since every person is grading every DAM Luka card, will someday the raw card be worth more than the graded card since the raw card will be rarer than the graded card????? Just thinking out loud on a Monday..........

Since we’re on the topic of Lukas future with the Mavs AND blue parallels....

How much of a hit does the blue Luka value take? Obviously at this point you’re paying a premium on blues compared to everything else except Gold and black. But if he didn’t play his whole career in Dallas I’d have to think the blue loses its added value right?

I don't see them losing value. For me the premium for team colors has more to do with the aesthetic of the card (matching border with jersey in card photo).

Agreed.

As long as Luka remains in that Mavs blue jersey on his RCs, anything Blue will have a premium.

Same with the Select Concourse White Prizm RC.

Def worse time. I wouldn't even consider it unless you need the money.

I recently flipped some lower end Luka duplicates for current market prices, but I also used those funds to grab a blue elite at current market too

Before tonight’s game I just gotta say, some of you people are nuts. 20 games into a screwed up season where the Mavs #2 guy has only played 9 games coming off of injury and is playing the fewest minutes since his rookie campaign, and 1/3 of the rotation guys missed significant time due to covid, coming off a short off-season and ya’ll are talking about Luka leaving Dallas? Bonkers. KP will improve, the rotation will improve, the record will improve. The sky is not falling. All off season everyone was ranting about what a great fit Luka is with Dallas and Cuban, and how fortunate he is to be in an organization that will bend over backwards to build a championship caliber team around him. All it took was 20 games and half the people in here are already plotting an escape. Come May, lots of folks are going to really bummed they stopped buying. By mid June the regret thread is going to be a front page staple. This is the beginning, not the end. Don’t let weak hands scare you away.

Gotta agree here. Just another crazy over reaction in an extremely weird time in the NBA. Cuban won't let Luka leave or trade him.
