i wish gemrate would break down vintage so we could see how slowly they pump those out. i have 2 orders that have been there since feb and are still in grading. woohoo

My most recent value special ($16) hit QA2 on 5/8, list disappeared on 5/9, and grades popped on 5/19. I think it's just hit or miss on whether it goes through quickly or sits for 7-10 days. No upcharges on that order either.

i average about 4-5 business days in q2 for most orders. had some over a week and some the next day. i wouldnt get too concerned until you're there for two business weeks. then i would call CS and see if that nudges it at all

I sent to SGC 5/17/23 and got back 5/24/23 regular service. I used overnight service on both ends but still. 1 week door to door. SGC makes all others look foolish.

When I click on "First View" for any of the cards in this order, it just says "No images were found for this item".

First view images didn't start until after your order arrived. So there would be no images for it. Any order that arrived before 2/28 shouldn't have first view images unless it randomly selected for testing the system.

And yes the box has been opened, but you paid for a 90 business day service. Can't be upset that it hasn't been completed after 60 business days.

Well, my order arrived to PSA in February and it won't be returned to me until June (or July?). Some companies use estimates and exceed them greatly. SGC is a prime example of this. So is Apple. And if PSA goes over that 90 business days (which my last re-holder sure went over the estimated turnaround by two months) then PSA then replies it's just an "estimate" and it's essentially meaningless anyway.

Still sucks and I stand by the "typical PSA" comment.

There is no turnaround time on reholder orders, hasn't been since pre covid, they all say turnaround times vary with demand. But in their defense every single one of their "estimates" do say Estimated Turnaround Time. if you want fast orders send them to SGC, if you want 40% more value and a registry, then deal with the delays and send them to PSA. Just my 2¢

I had a 47 card mixed sports order entered 5/2 pop yesterday. Fast. 35/47 gem was back to my long-term average rate. Amusingly, two of the 9s were Jordan cards. They sure like to hammer his cards these days.

You are incorrect. It's right here:

When you start any submission with PSA, it shows the chart for all available estimated turnaround times, and re-holder turnaround times are most definitely listed here. They are currently showing at 30 business days for a re-holder, and my order at the time took over three months to complete.

I agree, their turnaround times aren't being beat anytime soon. I prefer SGC for that and because I feel like SGC is just as good as PSA for vintage.
