Phone rang at 3:05 this morning with a 312 Area Code Chicago. Not a great time to have that happen seeing F-I-L is now in hospice.

Me: (in a sorta yelling whisper) HELLO?!?!?!
Caller.....10 second pause "Why did you call me?" Very old woman
Me- "I didn't call anyone" very annoyed
Caller....."but you called me"
Me- "Nope. Goodbye"

20 seconds later it rings again. Same number.....
Me HELLO?!?!?!
No Answer.......
Me Don't call back again

Test from wifey to me this morning....."I though you were going to tell me my dad died last night"

OK, how come none of you predicted this?

My wife just called mad at her Mom. Mom claimed a week ago she was going to be home for Christmas. My wife is bringing in all of the groceries she bought for Christmas and the MIL tells her she is on her way out to go spend Christmas with her boyfriend. The wife was so mad, I'm surprised she didn't kill her Mom. Mom claims she has no one in her life but her church and her boyfriend because the girls and us all have lives.
