The Topps system is excellent at making sure it takes a regular customer like me 30 minutes to check out (after countless captcha, logging in, adding to cart, cart spinning, nothing actually added to cart, then doing the puzzle piece thing, then 503 error, then finally get to check out page YES — but just kidding because the product I want is no longer in stock!). But it sucks at stopping bots.

Yes all Topps had to do was have it 2 boxes to Montgomery Club accounts instead of 1 and this never would have happened. Unreal.

You think it was bad the other day? Ask people how it used to be. There were some products where you had all those errors and would spend 3-4 hours for many people to still get shut out.

I want to be very clear....I am a bull on this one. I was originally one of the only F1 fans on the board. At worst I am hoping this brings eyes to F1. I will also say out of my F1 sales (more then just this product) only about 3% of my buyers have been international....so lots of US buyers.

BUT....It really is a 1/200. You have to figure that every card is randomly inserted into a pack. Each card is a 1/200 chance. There are doubles in boxes etc. I know that sounds technical. BUT.....My statement is based off value analytics.

There are a bunch of underperforming cards out there at the moment.

I would say based off a $750 price tag. You should have all Hamiltons at $70+, All Max at 45-50+, All Lando at $25+, Kimi/Ricciardo/Bottas/Vettel/Yuki @ @20+. I dont see that happening as more gets opened.

Will see. But need to see some bottom boost to see these hit the moon (Im talking 2-3K Box)

The odds of any single card being #1 is 1/200, but you get 32 in a box. There might be doubles in boxes (don't know yet), but they will be few and far between. Across the run, roughly 16% of boxes will have a #1. The cards aren't truly randomly inserted and doubles will be rare enough to ignore when calculating odds unless something is really off about this product. I'm not sure how much boost the bottom will need if raw Hamiltons settle above 1000 and a few other drivers settle in the 200-500 range raw. I think the "other base" cards might end up doing well and the rest who knows. While some UEFA cards move alright, the box prices are driven by Fati and Haaland. No reason to make every card a winner to make the boxes go up. A few big parallel sales and you'll see plenty of movement Remember also that sealed wax doesn't normally make sense economically and is all wildly overvalued particularly at the premium level.

Drive to Survive brought fans to F1. Granted I will never watch a race. Literally 3 people have a chance to finish P1-P3. Thats a terrible "sport". There's no other sport where being mediocre is celebrated.

I watched some drive to survive because of buying a box. It is amazing how fast the crew fuel up and change tires. Its less time than it takes for them to do that than for me to get a beer out of the fridge.

Yes. I was curious about that so I called Topps early yesterday morning. The very kind woman on the other end of the line said there was a “hiccup” during the shipping process. That has slowed down the shipping process. She said to have no fear about order cancellations or anything like that. They are doing their best to catch up and get all remaining orders out the door.

Agreed, or make it you get 1 box for however many years you were a member, and if there is not enough to go around on future releases for newer members(assuming the flood of flippers will join this year), then TFB.

Sold my Lando Orange #199 for $750. Not bad. Thought that was reasonably fair with the Chrome orange version going for $200. So almost 4x for sapphire. I can live with that.

Onto TL.....holy crap.

So my original 5 were ordered with overnight. I have them in possesion. Next 10 were 'processed' and given a shipping number on 5/1. They physically shipped 5/4, and Left Florida last night at 10pm.

Next 20 processed 5/4, picked up on 5/6. Still at original sort facility.

Yeesh. I still have 25 processing. Might have them all in hand by late may.
