Agree. At the least they could have used a similar shot like they did with Acuna in 2018 Bat Down vs Bat Up.

Psa graded nearly 12,000 and I expect that to pass 20,000 as yordan plays well.

That many graded they are bound to get confused lol

PSA did a poll last year then started labeling short prints as SP, SSP, SSSP instead of "White Jersey in Dugout", etc., to keep things simpler since some of the SPs are hard to distinguish. I would assume when they made this change that they also just dropped the detailed description for the base cards altogether.

I agree they should've just applied that going forward and maintained the status quo for existing cards to avoid confusion. Or maybe they did do that and this is just an anomaly that's completely unrelated.

Also, when you fill out a submission for PSA you can add info. Maybe the lesser described one was sent in with only basic info. If I send in numbers or colors, I make sure to write it in.

I didn't know about the poll, but this is the change, now the label says SP or SSP or whatever instead of "shaking hands with teammate after 9th inning strikeout" like I'm supposed to know from 2013 if that's the SP or SSP...I wasn't even buying new cards at that time, so I have no idea about some of the label descriptions from years past.

The "walking with bat" is a card I pulled and submitted shortly after release, so it's the 'early' version of the label. The 'SP' is one I bought that got graded later, after they changed the labeling.

(I think the orientation in the holder might match how it's placed in the card saver when submitted, but I have yet to test this theory)

Can anybody give me anymore information on this Photographer's Proof card? Can't find anything on eBay. Any idea how much it's worth?

There are supposedly 10 to 15 of these. A Trout sold for $150 in february a tatis for $99 Kyle Lewis for $88 Arazorena for $40. My Guess is $75 to $100 maybe. They dont sell for as much as numbered. Reminds me of the 2018 members only with a print run of /14 that really dont sell for IMO what they should. If they were numbered they would be huge.

I don’t think there are more 10. Maybe 7 to 10. They’re basically what Members Only was when Stadium Club was first relaunched.

The numbering isn’t the only issue. Proof, Members Only and 1st Day are all distinguished by rather uninteresting silver stamps. I still collect them (except for 1st Day), but I’d more rabid about them if the distinguishing features were a little more exciting.

I love love love the Yordan SP. Easily his best looking RC. The photo is like something you usually only see in Stadium Club.

This just came, I’m not sure if it’s just me but does the top right and bottom right corner have some white on it? Or is it just the color of the greyish white on that side of the card.

Nope looks like white to me....PSA pay for guaranteed 10’s already in full bloom?

Honestly though, card posted above yours in this thread does not look like that on the top right.
