Has anyone ever had a Topps shipment just never arrive? LOL I'm STILL waiting on my hobby boxes that shipped on 8/21. I know something is wrong as I got the Stadium Club hobby boxes I ordered from them in like 3 days (both orders used SmartPost).

What's really annoying is there is no tracking at all available. I called them last week and was told by the person that there should still be specific tracking available and she would get back to me. I have not received an update on this at all. Going to have to call them again shortly.

Shipping from Topps is never consistent.
I have had boxes take up to 4 weeks, but then they shipped a $10 Topps Now card overnight to me!
Yes, they paid more in shipping than what I paid for the card.

Wow, that's crazy man. I've ordered many times from them and this is the first time I've ever had this kind of issue. I went ahead and e-mailed them since it's not so easy to get them on the phone.

I've seen Alvarez auto on FB, seller is asking $12.5k for it. He also mentioned he spoke to the owner of the non-auto, so apparently both have been pulled.

Got bored and opened one of the Walgreens series 2 hangers and one of the chrome value packs I bought a while back because I decided it is silly to hoard retail.

Nothing in the hanger. This was in one of the Chrome packs. Been a while since I had a good hit!

Anyone open multiple cases or watch enough case breaks to get a feel for collation on hobby and jumbo? I'm trying to decide what to do with a case of hobby and a case of jumbo. I opened a bunch of retail but only a couple hobby and jumbo boxes when this first released so I didn't really get a feel for pack out issues. I know retail was crazy as I ended up with 7 Eloy Jimenez Pinks but 0 Luis Roberts from a bunch of value packs. I'd hate to rip the cases with the intent to grade and sell and realize there were known collation issues in one or the other and struggle to break even.

Question for the masses regarding the image variations- Are there base/non-refractor variations of these? Or are the variations only available in refractors and color? The checklists seem to say there are both base and refractor versions, but I'm only seeing them in refractors and color

I think since 2015 the image variations have been refractors.

That's what I thought, thanks. Just tripped me up as the checklist didn't explicitly say they were only refractors and not base

Cards are beautiful BTW, so much nicer tahn that Panini crap..... I would love to open topps chrome football again.

for me, retail was much better, specifically value packs.

I'd say retail is the much better value. I only opened a little bit compared to some on here (8 blasters & 2 hobby boxes). One hobby box was loaded including a blue wave refractor /75 of Robert where as the other was pretty blah. It helped I scored them at $130 via Fanatics. I got 3 autos including Lewis out of my blasters & many nice refractors, etc. Only 3 numbered cards total including the Robert so those seem tough to pull regardless. I'd love to find more retail at MSRP but I don't have the time to stalk vendors & camp out in the card aisle.

Thanks. I didn't open any hobby Stadium Club but I was pretty happy with the retail I got and in the SC thread it seemed like hobby wasn't that great. So it sounds like TC was similar.
