So I have been having big success and I have been following what happened in TopShot. I have been buying HOF players like Pujols, Cabrera, and now I got a few rainbow of Verlander. When I see that I can manipulate the market myself, I buy out to drive up the price. Unlike traditional baseball cards, the superstars see increased value and the rookies lag behind. This is how it is in TopShot and this is following the same trends.

I added another $400 in WAX today, was questioning myself whether I was buying more at peak but it doesn't look like it so far. Don't think I'll be adding any more though, lol.

I just keep thinking to myself though.....

"What if I'm kicking myself in a month for not going stronger and buying more into the upswing."

Ahh, FOMO is real and the kicker is I haven't missed out. I'm in. But there's fear that I'm not in as much as I could be.

Almost certainly. I'd say word got out that this is a huge hit and Topps is making money hand over fist.

For premium packs it looks as if $1,000 is a big psychological barrier. Price was above for a bit yesterday then pulled back. Now has been right at that number but sellers continue to come in just below. If the price breaks through $1000 and stays there for any amount of time, I would expect it to continue to rise. Possibly not a meteoric rise, but I can see at least a steady climb if it can get $1000 in the rear view mirror.

I don't have any to trade you, as this was my angle until these just totally went BONKERS. Now have 10 complete sets with many extra base of Trout, Tatis, Acuna, etc. I expected it to pump at some point just not so soon! I wanted 25 Sets! (they're the FIRST NFTs of ALL of these guys and could have significance in the future)

Don't know if this was linked or if people know, but it has been official for the crafting for awhile. All the rumors were true. With some of the other cards going up in price, like Betts, the market will give you evidence who the last 27 players will be for the packs.

I have one Pujols common. Seems like the correct play is to sell it for a Pujols rare. (They are about same price) Am I wrong? I'd like to maybe sell it to buy a standard pack, but the pack could be a dud

The base commons are overpriced, golds are getting there, and rare and above is where you want to put your WAX right now. If this is anything like TopShot, the lower the print number will fetch insane value. Low mints are starting to sell for high premiums now. It seems that the TopShot pumpers are joining this platform now and you can tell from the nonsense posted in discord. Stars and HOF players in rare, short print, and epic are where it is at. Rookies should be higher, but they never sold well in TopShot either.

I do wonder if as more and more NFT's enter the market if the low #d premium will go away/lessen. Not that people will stop wanting the limited cards, but that they will stop paying crazy premiums for card #10 as opposed to card #124. Their used to be a much bigger premium for physical cards with low and special numbers, but as more serial numbered stuff came out people stopped caring as much. Stars and HOFs in rarer forms are definitely the long term play I think, but the base market has a lot of upside until they are done with the crafting.

You can buy wax with USD through simplex but some of us waited three days for the wax to arrive, others appear to still be waiting. I ended up using kucoin to buy bitcoin, exchanged the bitcoin to wax, and then sent the wax to my wallet. Difficult at first but actually seems pretty intuitive after. From what I gather, there are many other ways to obtain the wax. If you scroll back in thread, some people have offered to sell through paypal.

Anyone's guess, but there is no grading with NFT's so serial # is really the only differentiator for cards of the same rarity.

FYI For anyone planning to sell their crafting cards, keep in mind prices rose 65-100% for most craft cards through the week. (e.g. Tim Anderson went from $35 to $70)
