But greed can be ones' own worst enemy (I know it is for me), so it's always worth noting there's never anything wrong with taking profit along the way and cost averaging. Not a "real item" but it is a commodity sought after just like these cards. Point being market cycles as Ninja mentioned. I think there can be valuable parallels drawn from both where ultimately supply, demand, and hype can create market bubbles. Obviously timing is everything. Hell the fantasy football commissioner in the Bitcoin league on these forums had to learn that the hard way and Houdini gave him the ban hammer. Probably a PBM on here lurking with a new username now. Pretty ironic, after all he (49ers_swag) was the one who created the infamous Haiku callout thread.
