Why are cards like this still for sale on COMC?

Answer: They don't care.

The card would literally have to be miscut to have a right edge that short.

The one two certs away looks about the same. All Hawk cards.

In fact, nearly every PSA 10 Matthews for sale is a Hawk card.

At some point we have to wonder -- is there anything that card-buyer didn't trim?

Not looked at this for a few weeks. How is the vendetta against COMC going? You sure as hell don't seem to be putting anyone off using PSA.

What is the likelihood that this was trimmed?

That particular card (Jeter Mirror Gold) would honestly have zero effect on pricing... See Jordan PMG Green for example. There are those cards that the only people who can afford to buy them, don't care. To them it is about having the card no matter what has happened to it.

Is this the same Superior sports invesments with Bill Sheet? I thought that COMC would be more proactive getting rid of people like this

Did UD make mini's?? That is ridiculous

https://www.comc.com/Users/SuperiorS.../Graded/BGS/10

I am sure this has been mentioned before. But I was looking for some cards on the COMC and saw this crap. I figure COMC would ban these types at some point

Another one gets by the hapless PSA goalkeepers. This was the equivalent of a wrist shot from the red line that froze Joe Orlando's stunned "experts."

He is trying to do something that is good for the hobby and you feel the need to give him a hard time.

At least he is trying.

If you want to roll over and allow PSA to rip you off, go for it.

But you should not be knocking others who are trying to do the right thing to help make the hobby a safer place for all of us.

Hey Tim G. how is that coding coming along to detect trimming/altered cards?

Have you notified a SINGLE person that bought an altered card from your site proactively?

Trick or treat?

You mean the exposure of outright fraud and deceit? It's coming along well. By the level of butthurt in your tone you might have a personal stake in the shadiness perhaps?

Ha, I’m sure people are comfortable with grading being subjective “art” and not objective “science”.
