Yeah. Going forward. I think they’ll struggle to keep it fresh if it’s basically the same guys being the ones to get with no rookies to chase. The f2 cards aren’t being chased. It’s going to be mostly the same field. 3 of the 4 podiums so far this year were identical.

While it wont affect the 2020 releases.....this is an accurate take.

Unfortunately what we have right now, is a mix of people educated on F1, or people educated on the hobby. There isnt a ton of both on the boards. Salthill, Myself and few others were sounding the F1 horns long before most the guys in the F1 threads even joined here.

Some of the guys get really mad when you talk about it falling into the NASCAR box. But in terms of names to pump out, its going to struggle.

AS its stands at the moment (and it could change) the only real impact move were looking at for 2022 is potentially Bottas out at Mercedes--and George Russell in. Kimi likely retires, but thats a back marker car at Alpha Romeo.

The industry has not really bought into the F2 cards at XRC's at this point, as the next best guy that isn't named Schumacher is selling for.....ehh $20 ish.

Thats a red flag, and the prices cards and parallels outside of Hamilton, Lando, Verstappen and to an extent Rusell are seeing are concerning. Not for making profit on a box, thats still relatively easy---but for long term future values.

If Hamilton secondary cards are already at $20 (They mostly arent moving or are selling around here)---That doesnt boost confidence that the market can be carried by hamilton in future years....especially at this price.

That said--flagship year product will always hold value well.

TLDR 2020 F1--buy away. 2021 -- beware.

Yeah I agree with your take dbacks. Interesting point about team switches but that certainly won’t be enough. From the looks of the presale box display they’ve come up with a new insert, it’ll be easier for people to colllect their guys at a cheaper price. Definitely won’t be super profitable. But yeah this year is good to go regardless. I’m surprised I’m getting no bites on a gold sp image variation sapphire of Vettel. 4 time champion

Do yourself a favor---if you dont get a price you really like for that card....tuck it away. He is a top 10 All timer. He is suffering from 'recent-ism'. When he retires his stuff will get a big bump.

The mlb network cards was in the description something like 8 weeks after the season starts or something. Those weren’t shipping right away
