He'll have to try left handed next time a position player is pitching.

He can’t pitch to himself….props to him for being ready to deposit the ball into the outfield rocks. A lot of guys try to hit it there, but most don’t.

Mike Trout is getting the night off Wednesday against the Rays.

Trout clubbed a pair of home runs in the Angels' blowout win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday. There's no injury concern here. Brandon Marsh, Aaron Whitefield, and Jack Mayfield are the starting outfielders Wednesday

"must be injured" "can't help your team win when you aren't playing" "gamers don't take days off"

I think that covers the normal parade of nonsense?

"Trout is spending his day off re-upping his supply of PEDs"

Now we're all set

You are clearly not a baseball fan. I would dare you say you never even played baseball at any high level.
The fact is baseball is the least major sport where a single player can lease his team to the playoffs much less a championships. Jordan wasn’t enough, he needed help. Brady wasn’t enough, he needed other players and without Adam Vinatieri that dynasty may have never got started. Montana Craig, Rice… Aikman needed Emmitt, Irvin etc. Managers also play a huge role. I get your points I really do, and like many others in here, you WANT someone else other than Trout to be the best player. Historians and writers acknowledge Trouts greatness just like they recognize his failure to make the playoffs doesn’t fall squarely on his shoulders.
