It’s definitely possible, you would know better than I. If you say it’s happening at walmart and target both that would mean 2 different sets of stores/reps being involved.

now that i know when "the crowd" formulates at a few Targets, ive done ok in the last 2 months and was finally able to get a few hangers/blasters of Mosaic football. looks like the restocks of those have finally dried up

hoping now ill have a shot at some Prizm football, im actually pretty surprised how cordial people are when rep arrives (atleast in these parts), and a cool system of basically 'drafting' product based off first to arrive, 2nd, etc, etc works out well. Sucks it has to be like these in these times but its better than nothing i suppose

I was in a Walmart this morning and found 4 Mosaic football hangers and 9 Mosaic basketball hangers. The only other cards they had were Topps update, bowman platinum and a few hockey and NASCAR blasters.

South side Chicago update:

Target: one orange factory set, a few update hangers and blasters, and a pair of contenders blasters. I took the hangers and an update blaster.

Wal- mart has a bunch of platinum hangers, one mega box hidden behind the hangers, and update and gallery blasters.

I grabbed the mega box and a few of the blasters of both update and gallery.

It's been about 2 weeks since any major change to the shelf has been made. There hasn't been any empty gravity feeds or blaster trays. No updates on the price tags either.

The only way to really know for sure is to see the vendor wheel the boxes out and if the boxes are already opened, then product is backdoored. If the boxes were still sealed then they are not. I’ve caught the vendor wheel out product many times. Most of the time boxes are still sealed but there are countless times where I see the vendor wheel out opened boxes. I’ve seen more sealed boxes lately but when NBA Chronicles came out I’ve seen the vendor wheel out countless opened boxes...

Most definitely back doored in the Bay Area Cali...1000% without a doubt...WalMart we have 1 and they keep cards in managers office and give you only 1 pack or blaster, their choice....

Target we have 50 in a 50 miles radius and they are definitely free for all’s and NFL Prizm will be heavily opened as it sits waiting for Rep in the warehouse...last 2 years it’s the norm not the exception...

It’s not the Rep...he just shows up and asks for his boxes that are stored in the warehouse it’s the employees and vendors who have access to warehouse and the “clearly marked” Excell boxes...open, take what you want, they are not inventoried so the box with 40 blasters might be the box with 5 blasters by the time Rep gets there to retrieve and stock shelves with 5 people waiting to share what has already been greatly depleted...

Not always there but just caught him at the right time when he was wheeling stuff out. I have a strict rule of not buying from flippers (since I got into it with one at a Target recently) but I have some clues of how the vendor changes his routine.

I was just at a local Wal-Mart and had a fresh stock of Platinum, Update, Donruss FB Holiday and I believe the new UD Series 1 Hockey. Any one any good in the Hockey boxes?

Looking at boxes online it was the 2020-21 UD Hockey Series 1 Megas that I saw in a local WM.

Yes, Lafreniere, the #1 pick. One of the more hyped hockey prospects in the past several years. It's going to be interesting to see if this stuff eventually flies off the shelves.

my target was empty of sport cards. but lots of magic and pokeyman. but walmart was stocked today with mega boxes and blasters of ud series one hockey for 2021. and a tray of topps update baseball. and three megas and bunch of blasters of prizm draft basketball. I really was shocked. even left it all hopefully the collectors got some of this.
