Congrats to Indiana they were by far the best team this year. Mendoza IMO with that performance locked down the Heisman but we'll see.

We'll see who's in and out come 12 pm and hopefully Bama sneaks in but if not you can't argue against it either as long as Miami is left out also. They should do the reveal backwards and start with #1 to build suspense on who the last few teams are since this year everyone pretty much knows who the top 4 will be. No huge top of poll shockers.

I think they absolutely will. As you said, a slight reordering of the top 4 but no real suspense there.

Bama out and Miami is in. After Virginia lost to Duke likely means James Madison and Tulane will be ranked higher in the CFP as conference champs and get auto bids. The selection committee won't want t shut the ACC totally out of the CFP.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but I think the CFP is going to look pretty stupid flipping the positions of 2 teams who didn’t play (and only 1 team on either of their schedule played so it isn’t like their metrics changed significantly).

Yes I know Miami beat ND…. But that was true last week when ND was ranked higher, it was true the week before when ND was ranked higher and it was true the week before that when ND was ranked higher.

Just saw a media projection with UGA staying at 3 and OSU getting the 2 seed. No logic. UGA would play winner of Ole miss and Tulane.

UGA has a better SOS, the best conference championship, and beat a common opponent (Texas) by more. There’s absolutely no reason OSU should be ranked higher. Plus eyeballs.

With that said, they will still rank OSU higher. It’s ok though, we welcome the disrespect.

I think Georgia will be #2 and rightfully so. The CFP puts a lot of emphasis on conference championships. Both are 12-1, but one won their conference the other didn't. Common opponent is Texas. OSU won by 7, Georgia won by 25. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter which one is #2 and which is #3. They will likely play regardless.

Newberry College beat Albany State yesterday to make it to the D2 National Semifinals for the first time in school history! Huge for my tiny little school of 1,500 students. We play Ferris State on the road next week.

Ou is definitely a lock way more than Miami and Notre dame..
