I honestly thought about it. If I didn't land A Promised Land last year, I'd pull the trigger on the preorder. I think you can always cancel preorders, right? So you could always "buy it" then site on the preorder and then cancel it if you have buyer's remorse next month.

Books-a-million canceled my The Boys signed preorder. Said they reached out to me about billing but searching my emails I have no emails of that. Somehow I get the emails telling me they canceled the order though. They sent two emails for some reason telling me they couldn't get ahold of me and my single order is canceled. Think I'm done with BAM

I noticed people getting their books and I never got a delivery notice on mine. So I checked my order and saw my CC had expired. I updated my information and it immediately charged my account and showed shipped. However, I got no emails from them and I am sure they would have cancelled if I didn't catch it on time.

I got the exact same treatment from them today as well. They cancelled my order without any notice until I received 2 emails telling me it was cancelled. The order was for stuff that is still currently available, so not a big deal, but still a pain...

In the right light the signed Kelly Clarkson CD insert looks great. Unfortunately it’s a black sharpie on a black background so in the wrong light you can barely see it.

All I gotta say is if Harrison Ford writes and signs a book it better be on the $30-$50 range end versus market value of $700+

I appreciate artists doing this for “free” to push book sales versus clearly selling their auto primarily and the item is a second thought.

My signed copy of Nick Offerman's book arrived from Barnes & Noble a few days ago. He has an interesting signature, just legible enough to be recognizable if you know who signed the book. Bought it as a gift so it's all good.

No interest in Springsteen, so I'll hold out for a cheaper Obama-only book.

He was a young president, so hopefully he'll be writing and signing books for another 30 years or so.

I'm younger than him, so hopefully I'll be around to buy them, LOL.
