When the strength of the team is it’s Line play and 2 starting O’Linemen are injured as well as Michigan’s best receiver early in the game. Yes, there will be a trending down of performance. A few years ago before taking advantage of the portal to solidify its line, Michigan would have been beat by Maryland.

Ohio State was able to beat PSU by 8 in a home game. Michigan had PSU on the road and then Maryland on the road. Teams at the top want to win in order to be selected in OSU or Michigan, you could say the same if Bama faces off against Georgia. I believe if Oregon wins, it might Oregon vs Washington for a opportunity to be selected?
