Double-double day. He's competing against Mookie to end the day for the batting avg/OPS lead.

Raises the slash line to .371/.433/.695 (1.128 OPS) without a HR tonight, impressive.

Idk why I’m nerding out on this stat, but Ohtani is on pace for over 450 Total Bases. Ruth-ian numbers. https://www.baseball-reference.com/l...B_season.shtml

It crossed my mind taking him 1.1 in my fantasy draft. I should have.

This is random and obscure but maybe someone can help me. I recently saw a video montage somewhere (IG? FB?) of Ohtani tipping his cap to opposing managers before his first at bat (and then responding in kind) and I can't for the life of me find it...does anyone know what I'm talking about? Saw him do it to Davey Martinez last night, first time I've caught it in real time.

Is the print run of the two different Heritage blue ink autos known? Very few seemed to have been graded. The two red inks are obviously /69. Should the red ink carry a premium because of the numbering?

I haven't seen the video, but he does that to every opposing manager before the first at bat.

Yup, the opposing manager, the ump, and the catcher. Every game.

Unknown but it's SP compared to other players. The bat on shoulder blue ink felt a little harder to hit. Probably 2-300 of each but we will never know.

Well, wasn't expecting this, but some crack/cross success. Bought the patch dual on "gambling discount" earlier this month. Liked it in-hand and knew it was a 10 if PSA gave me some credit on the overall eye appeal versus hyper focusing on centering for a horizontal card.

Monster card. That is awesome. Wish they used a swatch with a little something on it for Trout but that's nitpicking.

I agree, this is my second copy of this card and both have napkins for trout so maybe that's all they had available. I'll take the patch on sho versus trout though.

PSA really has to speed up the 3D printed inner gaskets!

They have them for thicker cards, but not for 180pt yet it seems.
