The nostalgia behind that set and the beauty of that card makes it an instant favorite in my collection. I was pretty bummed when Topps didn't select me to be able to purchase a box or two on release day, so I've just grabbed singles here and there when I could and of course I had to have a gold of Yordan. Not sure I'm going to ever be able to let go of that one.

Not yet. Raw are about $5 and PSA 10's are $50 now. That's why I said I should have graded them when it was only $10-12. Easy grades.

I went through them all last night and have a few decent runs (minus the Superfractors) -
2018 Bowman's Best Early Indications - base, Atomic, Autos /100, /50, /25
2019 Bowman 30th Anniversary - base, Atomic /150, Green /99, Gold /50, Orange /25, Red /5
2019 Bowman Scouts Top 100 - base, Atomic /150, Green /99, Gold /50, Orange /25 - missing Red
Bowman Chrome Prospects - have 21 different, just missing Red Refractor /5 and Red Shimmer /10
Bowman Ready for the Show - base, mojo, Purple Mojo /250, Atomic /150, Green /99, Gold /50, Orange /25, Red /5

Looked at a few of them on ebay. At least the Chrome Prospects look like they have potential.

Had to go back to 2013 to find when he lead off. He's got a higher projected OBP than Altuve, and decent speed, so he could bat first. But then it's more likely an opposing team could counter with a lefty opener if they went Brantley/Altuve/Yordan. That's my guess why L/R/L wouldn't be used.

Mets have Nimmo/Lindor/Conforto for L/R/L top 3 according to roster resource. But they're lefty heavy through the lineup.

Maybe the Astros don't want to clog the bases with Yordan hitting in the 3rd spot.

April 3: Astros 9, A's 1 -- Alvarez racking up historic RBIs
Yordan Alvarez is quietly entering historic territory, even this early in the season. The 23-year-old slugger has 88 RBIs, the fourth-most by any player in history after their first 92 games. Walt Dropo tops the list at 95, followed by Rudy York (94), Joe DiMaggio (90), Alvarez and Ted Williams (87).

Speed is not. Altuve hitting leadoff is their best choice. Brantley protecting Alvarez would be awesome.

Checked comc, topps chromes 200 were in the 9 range. Everything sold out up to 13, only 13 and up remain.

It begins.

Thoughts on multipliers of prizm, ref, pink, and sepia? Seems about 2 or 3 to 1 but that could make a big difference soon.
Xfraxtor def seems higher as they didn't make a lot of mega boxes based on what I've seen.

Bias I own some, but the psa 9 flagship foils at 60 bucks are the best value buy now imo

Lo and behold Yordan goes 3-5 and I Get this note today:

Hi. Sorry. I have to cancel this one. Did a show a couple weekends ago and don’t recall selling it but I can’t find it. Had my son going through all the graded boxes and we can’t find it. My sincere apologies. We keep good track of all cards. If it pops up, I’ll be sure to message you with the opportunity to buy it at same price.

I will save my feedback for if I see this card again. Card was listed for 8 days.

He has the 3ks all on called strikes, swing and a miss tends to not ever show up in the live feed for yordan, he always makes contact or fouls it off

Not if you buy a COMC card on eBay. And I have returned a card to COMC before...but that was probably 5 years ago so wasn’t aware of any policy change.
As far as I know the only “all sales final” platform is myslabs.

I should get my bulk series 1 looked over for potential grading when things open back up at PSA. I bought like 30 base rookies, a gold, a rainbow foil before the season last year.

Also, I have no idea why Baker insists on hitting Tucker 4th in that lineup.
