Buy cards you like, buy cards you think are great steals, buy presales at or below msrp, and ride the wave and grow the portfolio.

It’s also not a bad idea to pick and choose a certain 10 pack from Topps to get the $500 card you want. Some cards you might want are $500, $1000, more- and you dont have the money but you have $145 maybe.

Identify a current or upcoming card you feel is a good future flip card, and flip the 10 cards to get the funds for the expensive cars.

Rinse, repeat, acquire all the previous issues you wanted! It just takes sticking to the plan and trusting yourself.

This set is STILL a classic “I started with a paper clip and ended up with a house!” Type thing. Let’s ride this wave!!!!!

Im a huge fan of these and wish I could own them all(well, not Fucci, I hate the no face things) Ive spent over $1K on cards in the last week which have fallen in price, but they are cards I wanted to keep so doesn't really matter if they went up or down after I bought them other than the annoyance of spending the extra money. There are still multiple cards I want to buy that I am waiting to get down to a certain level. A Siff Brett just sold for $650 when it was $1200 all day long two days ago. When it hits $500, Im going to pick one up. Everything is falling fairly quickly and Im going to pick up the cards I want for my collection when they get to a price Im comfortable with. Id advise against trying to "buy the dip" thinking youll flip for more. That may end up happening but its very risky.

I don't buy dips. I buy what I can afford. I'll admit I gulped pretty hard when I bought the Chang Rivera. It was a reminder not to purchase outside of your comfort zone. Of course I'm saying that now. If the card were $2000 I'd be celebrating. Now, people are getting it for $500 and I'm like, well I just burned $500.

But this is a marathon, not a sprint. Big concern moving forward is p2020 fatigue. Will these be as popular 3 months from now? Not because of anything Covid related, but because it's 10 cards a week, every week.

Did you wait to see if he relisted it? If you claim he did it because of a price increase, you have to show that he did it. If he hasn't then your neg will be removed if you're accusing him of it.
