You get 25% off if they miss the deadline

Look, don't get me wrong - the fact that they've fixed the outgoing end so that even el cheapo shipments go out in less than a month is great - maybe even greater than it needs to be. I just think it's a tad ridiculous that it takes 4 times or more longer than that to get cards up. Move some labor around. Especially now that they seem to have completely given up grading/condition assessment, how hard can intake/processing be?

Not true anymore. They started evaluating cards more carefully again. For a while they werent using condition notes but we discussed the change in this thread.

Same here. October is down like 75% from a recent "normal" month for me.

It has been that way because they use a third-party service to issue checks - it's not like Upper Management keeps a checkbook in her desk to whip out whenever someone requests a check cashout.

They have to request a check from this company (after making sure there's enough cash in the coffers to cover it), then it gets printed and mailed to COMC, then it gets signed by COMC and put into the mail for you.

If checks were more common, the process might be a little quicker but it is what it is...

You can probably let go of this one. It might have been true when you were there, but I am guessing they are quite fine on printing checks these days. I have seen very little to suggest that they are in need of cash right now.

port sale question since i have not done one before.

was thinking of thinning out my inventory and am wondering if someone really could offer me $1.18 for this if i did not place a minimum offer?

If not specified, the minimum offer will be the lesser of 20% of the total asking price and 10% of the total SRP.

so obviously, $1.18 would be lesser than any min. offer i would place.

I think so. Looks like you're suffering from a glut of cards with no SRP. There's a lot of that going around.

Anyone having issues or delays in funds being sent to Paypal? They are using a new Tipalti accounting it seems. I received emails at 12:39pm and 2:14pm EST that funds were being sent to my paypal but nothing is showing yet. New email wording too...

"Dear Jason,

A payment to you was submitted by PayPal.
Payment message: Invoices (listed my 4 pending cashouts from 10/27)

Best regards,
The COMC team."

They just listed the invoice numbers, not amounts.

*shrugs* Until I see/hear differently, I'll stick to this. Upper Management doesn't have the imagination to try new things, so I'm not expecting things to change. But, they're more than welcome to prove me wrong...

I requested one on the 27th and got it this evening. It was there right after I got the email. I assume you've never had issues before?

This is what I was talking about yesterday. Emails about cashouts but no cashout. Mine came really late yesterday. Hoping mine for the 28th will come later today but hasnt come yet. Also, my cashouts arent being grouped into one deposit anymore, they appear to be separated by day requested instead of any open ones all at once.

Within an hour of making this post, I received an email from COMC telling me that my payment has been sent. I checked on PayPal, and the money is in my account.

jasonplo - I hope the same thing happens with your payment.

I'm waiting on a check requested the 18th and supposedly mailed the 26th. Far too long in my opinion.

Just some data points on listing timing from my (relatively short) COMC experience:

I started on the platform in February of 2022.

I’ve sent 3-4 shipments of cards (100-200 each) per month since then. Largely the $.50 tier but mixed in some fresh pulls specials here and there.

From the first shipment, each batch of cards would have small batches posted every few days through the order and a final batch on day it was “due”.

This was normal up until September. Since then, there has been no movement on any shipment save for the due date. All batches clear on time - but absolutely no partial postings.

So now we have “caught up” to the point that each of my seven shipments in the queue have the full order still to be posted. The first due date on these is Sunday so we will see if they batch the whole order in one day.

So quick question, submitted my first shipment to COMC. Standard submission, arrived yesterday according to tracking.

So will it just slowly trickle in on the submission tracker? Should I upload the necessary fees now to pay once it’s fully in? Does the 16 weeks start from when they receive it? Just want to track things, so by my estimate come early March it should all be logged

On your dashboard under the seller menu, there's a "Processing Status" option. This will show you how your cards are progressing. When they are received and logged into the system, they will show up here with an estimated due date (which will be about 16 weeks away). It will likely show progress as 5% - that seems to be the baseline for "we got your stuff".

Once those 5% numbers start going up to 20%, 30%, that means you can expect to see cards show up in your account relatively soon thereafter.

If they make cards ready for you and you don't have any money in your account, then they'll be frozen until you add it. So you can go ahead and deposit some now, or you can wait until closer to the time. Just have something in there when they start so that things keep rolling forward.

Does COMC really charge $0.50 a card? Why are there so many cards being offered for
far under that? How does that make sense? Is there something I'm missing?

The rate was not always .50

People buy ports and resell them

ePack cards transfer to COMC for free

But, aren't they printing checks now? Isn't that what I read earlier?

I mean, how long does it take to print a check?
