I use the tobacco sleeves, then put into a thick soft sleeve inside a 55pt toploader, then teambag

The thick sleeves mostly keep the little sleeve in place due how they create a small pocket in the middle due to the sleeve itself folding inside the toploader

That was a ton of fun! I've been really looking forward to getting these packs, and they did not disappoint. I have to be really excited with the getting a logo back, green, and a home world out of just 4 boxes. But even just going through the base was a lot of fun. I hit most of the big characters, got pretty solid collation, and really enjoyed the variety. Favorite part of the rip is hitting the biggest 2 Jedi characters in their blue parallels. Knocks out 2 of the 3 blue Jedi I needed right off the bat!

The one thing I will say disappointed me was the base set not having card numbers. I know that's in line with the recent baseball T206 releases, as well as the 1900s originals, but it just adds an unnecessary layer of annoyance in set building. Semi minor complaint, but I do really wish there were card numbers printed.

All that said, this gets a 10/10 from me after Wave 1! I will definitely be up for some trading and dealing for my project needs, just need a little bit of time to update my lists first

So question for the other people building sets on this - how are you ordering your cards? Going off of the Topps checklist where they did list card numbers, changing to alphabetically, something else?

I printed the Topps checklist and used that. I thought It was the surest way that I wouldn’t miss anything. When I binder my complete set, however many that may end up being at the end, I will probably insert them chronologically starting with ANH and going through the current tv/animated cards.

I might do it by background of each image. They are so distinct from each other.

I used the Topps checklist and created a spreadsheet.
Filtered the names alphabetically and then sorted

My 20 boxes arrived today, and I cracked it. 2 reds and 3 yellows beat the odds, but no homeworld, image, or black hit.

I ended up with NO Wedge Antilles base and only 1 of Pamich and Tusken Chief, between 2 and 6 of the others. Was hoping for 2 white base sets per case.

2 Red (Wedge & Jannah)
3 Yellow (Dengar, Galen, Zuckuss)
2 Green (Lor San Tekka & Zam)
4 Orange (Colton, Galen, Maz, Pao)
5 Logo (Finn, Luminara, Pamich, Qui Gon, Tusken)
24 blue's, 18 unique.

I checklisted mine alphabetically since Topps checklist looks random and there are no card numbers.

Hoping to build a blue set, and then put together as much as practicable at reasonable prices of the color parallels and SP's. Lot of fun to open

Thanks for sharing guys. I don't really love any of the options I can think of, but I'll probably end up doing it alphabetical for now. The chronological ordering is a cool idea! But too much work for me

A lil off topic, but has anyone found a good Star Wars themed 3 ring binder? I'm feeling inclined to get a nice themed one for this and a few other SW sets rather than a generic binder. Found a few on eBay that look pretty cool, but they are really expensive. Haven't really found many other good options out there yet though

Haha yeah, I definitely got lucky.

I was content with the 3 homeworlds too. Then, as I checked to see what my base set needs were, I noticed one of my Leia cards were different from the other Leia cards. After realizing it was an alt image, I checked to see if I hit any others and noticed 2 alt image Finns.

I agree with you too. Don't care too much about the homeworlds but do like the image variations. With that said, I'll try to move whatever I can until I recoup cost.
