I love basketball, I love to watch the greatest basketball players in the world. If the NBA is rigged then I have no reason to be a fan, nor does anyone else. Anyone that thinks that the NBA is rigged is not a fan, and should just go watch the PGA or some other mundane sport.

It just depends what you call rigged. Are the players in on it like WWE? No. Is there manipulation on the part of the commissioner and referees? Yes, in my opinion. All the conspiracy theories and actual stories by ex-refs are highly unlikely to be all coincidences.

I believe they have a yearly salary (I'm not sure if that includes the playoffs or just regular season), but the refs in these Finals are being paid on a per game basis (though I heard it was something small, like $7,000).

2 series come to mind Lakers Vs Blazers in 2000 and Lakers vs Sacramento 2002 (I think) both series and key rigged game officiated by Tim Donaghy. If anything that Sacramento series was rigged!

The refs set the pace by calling fouls. You get any star in foul trouble early on and it changes the dynamics of the game.

IMO a key play in the game that set the pace for not only lebron but game in general was the wrap around steal by lebron on Klay. It led to a breakaway and it happened only 2 or so minutes into the game. Had it been called a foul on lebron, he mightve gotten himself into foul trouble. early on.

Thats what happened to Curry last game. He got hit with 2 early fouls, they sat him. Brought him back in and got hit with his 3rd. Totally threw him off his game. He was hitting shots. By giving him so many fouls early you throw his game off having to sit and worry about when the next one is coming. It didnt help the rest of this team was doing boo.

This whole series has been all based on what Curry/Thompson do. All series the Cavs have shut them down by double and triple defending them. Curry and Klay draw the defense so the rest of the team has to hit. You can't have all your other guys missing. Basically the cavs don't care about anyone else besides Curry. They shut him down and let everyone else take shots and they miss. In game 7, they need to make their shots and curry cannot be hit with fouls so early in the game again.

Curry's problem with fouls is all the Cavs game plan, forcing switches to him on ball handler. Gives Cavs an easier 1 on 1 match up, plus puts him in bad situations. He should never try and draw a charge, half charge and blocking fouls are 50/50 depending where the ref is standing. Curry would have had a couple more fouls if he wasn't already in foul trouble (break aways he could have wrapped up).

Warriors need Draymond to step up big (I think he will). Played scared and cautious last game so he wouldn't get suspended for game 7. I see him coming out more loose and aggressive, especially with the home crowd energy.

Great post on Reddit about little boy Curry and his 5th foul, the top comment addresses the 6th foul, as well. Images clearly show the 5th foul happened twice (first reach ignored by the ref). 6th foul was just a stupid play by Curry because he lost his composure. This series is over, Curry has broken down harder than LeBron vs. Boston.
