I know it's Zion and everything but I still have some PTSD from last season's Prizm. Bought a lot on pre-sale and it all went down.

Picked up 10 retail boxes, worst case scenario I rip them all.

Yep. I got 12 and 12 of the draft fat packs. The fact that this is so available should tell us it’s gonna be a max produced year.

True, though I’m not even sure there’s an employee working at Walmart who can approve that return.

Sports cards have always been an iffy return to me, and if you were to return them because you’re “investment” didn’t work out I personally find you to be gutter trash and 100% should be kicked off the forum.

It's going to be a huge amount of production, but there couldn't have been many of these available. Besides the people in this thread, who the heck is randomly searching for 2019-20 prizm basketball on walmart.com 2 months before the product comes out? And it still sold out quick. Only reason it keeps coming back up in stock is the the purchasing being declined with the fraud alerts. My dad and I both used paypal and credit card payments on walmart and got a fraud alert and/or call each time.

I'm definitely curious how OP found this, because that was a very random occurrence that nobody else knew of/anticipated.

Couldn't have been a very well known pre-sale. Would make it more enticing if majority of the orders came from BO before it sold out.

Ya, on 2nd thought I just saw a Contenders Draft blaster moved for $37.50 on FB. I’m definitely not factoring in FOMO and think that in the end you’re probably right.

Sorry, I should've worded better...I meant when does the hold drop? Seems like the only experience people have with this stuff searching is on video game preorders.

This. FWIW last year they made roughly 50,000 boxes of the 24 pack retail boxes. (/42 parallel fell about 1 in 4 boxes. 300 card base set). How many of these boxes could they really have sold tonight ?

Don’t know if this is a guaranteed flip for big profit but it’s certainly an opportunity to buy prizm at a reasonable price with not much downside.

I bought FOTL select basketball boxes this year from people who had no clue who Luka Doncic was. The number of people getting in the game for a quick flip is staggering, and only going up.
