You misunderstood me. You need sets with base and some inserts, and no chase cards like numbered or parallels, autos. All the lower tier stuff does. If you think back to basketball when they released Complete Basketball. That's just fun if you like to build sets and some inserts. The sticker card packs is trash.

I feel most comfortable here. I was in a Discord and they paywalled it once a Bot key was purchased for the group. My grief is with the misinformation being spread in the first 3-4 pages of this thread. I would like a thread for drops only. That would be great, and I think a lot of people think the same.

I walked into my Walmart and was greeted by a load of Bowman and UFC blasters, along with 26 cellos of 2019-2020 NBA Hoops. Totally unexpected. Even more so was the fact that the vendor was gone, and it was all there. FYI, the Hoops cellos are now $19.98!

No... you need to have some numbered parallels to make the packs fun to open. I could do without the autos, though.

I guess this is over your head. You get that in what's out as of now. I'm calling for sets with nice base cards and nice inserts for kids, set builders, and collectors who want something to open. You can get that by making sets like complete again. Do you remember that set??

Everything out now has a value. You get chance of autos, numbered cards, short prints in every product now. That's apart of why Hoops and Donruss have resell value.

Those were the low end, and now the NBA doesn't have a low end. Topps has provided low end for collectors. That has allowed collectors to open products.

I'm asking for sets with no real chase. Mass produce the stuff. Keep the brands like Prizm and Optic printed in low qtys.

No, I GET what you're saying... especially being a set collector. I'm not saying that you're wrong for wanting a product with no chance at parallels, BUT FOR ME the fun of opening boxes is the chance to pull a cool parallel of an Astros player that I can add to my Astros collection while building the set. Inserts don't really do it for me because the vast majority of those historically are garishly ugly. I usually end up building the base set then just throwing the inserts in a box. If something doesn't have at least the chance for a parallel of some sort then I usually don't collect it.

What I want is for people to realize that the "can't miss" cards they're chasing (and paying ridiculous prices on wax to find) will actually be misses 95% of the time over the long haul. Then the hobby can go back to normal.

If target hasn’t released by now they probably won’t for the day. Next likely drop is assumed to be Friday but it’s really anyone’s guess

Topps has no set release times for new stuff. They do as they please. And good luck with Panini's website, bots feast there.

IDK why a lot of people are assuming Friday. Because of the brief history of in store Fri @ 8am? Or the one big drop that happened two weeks ago? Outside of that, the majority have been Tues/Wed in the 8-830am time frame.

Retail can stop Ksrautomation and others very easy. I give credit to UFC security team. KSR bragged on Twitter, copping 12k boxes. UFC cancelled the entire order. In the news it’s the Russian or Chinese that hack our systems. I spoke about this with my boss. Not true allies there hackers aren’t smarter or brighter then ours. Americans our lazy, they know there is a problem, and yes they could fix it. Allies, know how we think, that is why they can get in the systems. We actually do have the top security folks in USA. I’ve been trying to tell everyone, UFC probably did it. They can let the bots purchase every product that goes live. Funny thing, we all know it sells out in 2 min. There team can grab coffee, talk about last night game. Wait 5 minutes go into the order system, boom. One easy red flag, doesn’t matter if you cop Manual, when your in discord group or get pinged. The product is not live to the public. Those orders cancels ASAP, addresses. You don’t think they can see one person place 85 orders in Under min. VPN, Proxies can’t hide address and credit cards.

Reality is UFC is a leader, trust me all retail heard about it. It’s sad because if you take action, your a follower.

My boss was actually right, they our lazy.
