Kenny already knows who's winning it. He's not promoting a card anymore...he's promoting his business! Pryan is just promoting his ego by inserting himself into the conversation. Trying to get any last crumbs lying around.

You're just inflating false interests in the card. It's "pure booty" remember. He knew he wouldn't win it at his bid. We know, he knows it, Kenny G knows it. ZERO chance! So why bid?

Agree to disagree I guess. By your definition, if someone lists a $100,000 card via ebay auction starting at $0.99 then every bid from $1 to $30k or so would be a shill bid. I actually agree that the people who bid super low on expensive cards they have a 0% chance of winning are incredibly weird, but I also wouldn't call them shill bidders.

All of the super high end market is manipulation to an extent. Big “collectors” are incentivized to explain to super wealthy people what a good portfolio balancer cards are. 5-10 billionaires entering or leaving the market changes everything pricing wise as we have seen with some other extremely volatile pricing on mid six figure + cards.

The difference being that I’m sure all of those bidders would be happy to win. Whereas Patty bid over $1M on a card he was relieved to be outbid on.

Nothing is wrong with bidding under market if your intent is to try to win the item.
