First Buzz: 2024 Panini Select WWE wrestling cards

I am loving Select. My Target order came the other day. Ms. Parker auto, Liv Morgan premier gold ice /10, and Johnny Wrestling Tiger were the big hits. I have three more megas coming today.

I bought into several breaks over the weekend. We had a blast just watching the product. Grabbed a Trick Future tie dye, Tony D Future gold /10 on top of a bunch of other pretty decent cards.

The best thing I like about getting in on breaks of Select is that you don't have to spend a bunch of money to pull some nice cards. I have usually capped my breaks at $20 and got in on a bunch of small spots in hopes of pulling something nice. Very unlike the Prizm football and baseball breaks going on right now where spots are hundreds of dollars.

If anyone wants to know if the Megas from the restock on target app are also loaded like the first round. They absolutely are lol. I’ll be posting pics later but these hits are insane for a $60 box. It pays not to be bitter! lol

I can’t remember the exact date but it was last week sometime I think. On the target app I set the “notify me when in stock” thing on and I eventually got a notification that said “Time sensitive: WWE Panini…”.

It was 3 per order

Sent a few of my Selects off to SGC, some of which were pictured earlier in this thread...

Not happy at all with the Oba grade, especially because I felt that card was perfect. I really, really look these things over before sending them in. Anyway...

I purchased this a few months ago on sale for $90; you can use your PC as the screen and really look for things.

I've thought about getting one of these. I use this loupe now.

I also feel if I sent these to PSA instead, I believe those 9.5s would have been 10s. Like, you can't just give ya boy the .5?!?

It's all completely random. I have five cards at PSA right now and I don't have any clue what one particular grader will think on one particular day. It's all subjective.

My Target had blasters, but couldn't remember what was worth grabbing so I left them...

2 Green Flash in every box, I got some decent names in 5 blasters but nowhere near what the Megas were producing

Yesterday, picked up two lone blasters that were sitting on the shelf at Walmart. Glad I did!

It's been a good run. LOL. Apparently I bought into a international break on Whatnot that I totally forgot about. I got home from vacation yesterday and had a package waiting for me. Apparently I bought Trick and Kiana James in the break. I ended up with about 6 numbered Tricks, two Kiana James red wave ringsides, and a Kiana redemption ringside auto. Not a bad surprise!

From what I am hearing, these are not going to be online again. They are going to be only in store restocks of what is left in inventory.

Orange flash is what is in retail blasters. Green flash is hobby blasters.

Good to know. I can stop checking every day now, lol. I ended up buying 15 more off the secondary. Talked myself into spending $90 per. The plan is to hold, but I've got weak legs on this stuff.

I selected the "notify me when back in stock" option on the website just in case. I do love the megas. But with the scarcity of the megas, I have been looking more and more at international boxes. Even though they are more expensive than the megas, it feels like the value is there with them.

I did the same, but history has told me that’s wildly inconsistent. Most of the time I get an email I go to the link and it’s already sold out. I’ve been watching the prices of cases for both. If you can get it at $2k or under I think you’re doing well if your plan is to hold.
