I used to break this every year and have been off for a while. Decided to get back in with a case using my COMC credit....so at least that way it doesn't feel as much like real money. Not sure about the comments of only getting 10% value back....how is that even possible on this product? So much of the value is in sets, insert sets, parallels, etc. That's what I've always liked about it- so many ways to get "hits" beyond the actual hits.

To each their own for sure and I definitely agree that prices on boxes/cases are way out of hand. As someone who broke a lot of stuff between 2006-2018 or so, it's amazing how many boxes I see that are more than I used to pay for cases. A&G isn't quite that bad, luckily. I was always able to do pretty well with it and have a lot of fun breaking it and finding so many different types of cards so I expect that to still be the case. We shall see!

The people saying 10% is the floor just don’t know what they are talking about. Even just selling sets and then lots of the leftover inserts, lots of the minis(broken down by A&G back, regular, black, and mini inserts), lots of the relics, foil, chrome, etc should net in the $300-400 range at least if not more. Losing the box toppers hurts. But the floor isn’t nearly as high as it is with Heritage. With Allen & Ginter if you focus only on the autos, your going to get clobbered ripping unopened most of the time.

Thank you! Grabbed 5. According to the Topps Ripped article, they were supposed to be available from the 24th-26th over on M&N website. I remembered...mid-day on the 25th, went to grab some, and they were OOS. Were they available in case format, there/then...?

I think they were only available as single boxes. I did not buy any from M&N website.

I was trying to..."map this out", in my head, last week. With a street date of the 3rd (if I recollect, correctly), I was guessing that they'd go out this past Wednesday (obviously, not), or perhaps; today!? Wouldn't think they'd ship on Saturday, and Monday's going to be too late (I presume?) for people to have...in-hand, on/by Wednesday? Unless they're doing something like 2 Day Shipping w/ FedEx?

I saw that video, crazy! I did not even know it was possible to get 2 red inks from a double rip card. Some people are theorizing that Topps preorders are extra juiced up especially with the Topps Update Jumbo boxes, I wonder if the preorder Ginter is extra juiced up too now. I seem to remember the WBC boxes being really good on the preordered boxes too...
