Those are the same price, which includes a 25 cent s/h fee. If you're a flipper, you should be in Advanced Resellers Mode... ;-)

I see - that makes sense. I don't do any flipping on there.

Black Friday sale is on with over 2300 sellers so far.

Trevor Lawrence HGA graded Gem Mint cards are on sale from popolka.

TaraLynnCards has some nice hockey, including low print runs.

It may be just me and the cards I buy.

The Black Friday sale appears to be the same as the Pre-Black Friday sale. My watch list appears to be the same. A lot of 7% or lower % off. A couple of sellers have had better sales during the year then now.

Appears like it will be like last year. I will buy enough cards to get my free shipping so I can get my year's worth of buying shipped free.

The sales are a little underwhelming at this point. I am picking off stuff from my watchlist as my own sales come in. Hopefully will have a 100+ cards to ship before it's done.

There's some decent deals so far in vintage football and baseball.

Yeah, I'm trying to find some stuff and its been a little meh. Did pick up a few things early on, and just got a nice low numbered superstar RC for a pretty good price. That was possibly the "best deal" I have gotten so far. I just can't find anything that isn't on sale that hasn't been, or that wasn't what it was priced at last week.

Sales have been pretty steady so far, mostly low to mid range stuff, haven't done any big items yet...but its early. Its weird too, have a little lull and then a blitz of sales or offers all at once!

My sales were great for pre black friday but have been slow so far. Not that many great deals that I see for buying.

My sales have been huge thus far. I did a bigger discount that the pre-black Friday, which helps, but I've already sold as much today as I did during that whole sale. Hopefully tomorrow brings more of the same! Hope all of your sales are going strong as well.

200+ cards sold today. Not surprised to see people picking off stuff like Ohtani RCs when they’re on sale, but some of the rest of it has been nicely clearing some of the backlog.

How's other buyers doing today? I'm up to around 130 of my usual COMC <$5 Twins cards, thinking about adding some more store credit to keep going for awhile. Not finding a ton of crazy deals, but lots of good cards sub $1 that are perfect for COMC

I just noticed that "Star Wars" is now a separate category.

152 cards sold for combined $190 this far. Grabbed anything on my watch list that was screaming at me. Now it's just tracking down potential gems for PSA.

It all comes down to that you are buying or selling now days if you are having a good or poor day. (Price helps a lot also)

I have close to 2,200 cards on my watch list. (Nebraska football). So far, I have purchased 1 card on Pre-sale and 1 card today. I have several that I will buy come Monday if they do not drop in price before that. I'm paying about 40% more per card then I was a year ago.

I'm not worried about not getting them as the cards on my watch list have been there for a long time some from 2016. (40% are not on sale). During these sales only 5 cards have been sold that I do not buy. 2 were high dollar cards the others were in the $3 range and I would not have purchased them at that price. NOT paying that for commons. I need a lot of players that have never played in the NFL but still people want several dollars for them.

So, the Search continues.

edit: Plan on purging my watch list and redoing it again after the sales. In hopes it is easier to find cards.

I have been back in the hobby since 2011. Seems like COMC black Friday used to be a lot better back in the day. The last few years not so great. I have snagged a few cards. There are some on my watch list I am thinking about picking up today. I just don't view 5% or 10% off to be that big of a deal.

I agree. There's a dichotomy of sellers out there. A lot of them are still living in 2020 and the market is different today. I snagged the top items on my watch list and will probably just purge the remaining items after Monday. I am now basically hunting for cheap stuff that looks gem worthy. There's no shortage of sale prices on that stuff but it takes some effort finding them. And then maybe only one in five actually make the cut when I get them in hand.

My sales are about as expected so far but was hoping 50% off what's often the lowest price on the site would see a bigger impact. Cheap stuff is moving however. I'd rather clear out that stuff at half price then the higher priced cards that occasionally sell at my normal prices.

I've noticed the same thing as well as far as cheaper cards selling. I wonder if potential buyers for higher end stuff are waiting to see if there will be steeper discounts on Monday.

I think it is partially this, but also the submission fee was 30 cents. Now at 50 cents it’s just not worth sending in cheap cards and those that are in just aren’t discounted much. It used to be in 2018 and 2019 that the first page of results for Clemson autographs were all under $1. Now the cheapest is $1.15.

Yes, that higher submission fee probably helps bring out the bottom feeders who can scoop up cards on the site for less than the price of submission and make some flips with patience. I'm definitely more mindful of what I send knowing I'm paying 50 cents up front. I probably have a couple thousand cards in the port that are borderline dead submission fee money. These sale events help move some of that stuff, sometimes at a loss. That's fine. The person who held his Enron stock because it was down ended up with nothing.
