This is exactly what people like Rifleman and I were trying to say yet got shot down countless times. I got dunked on for collecting Hot Toys figures, which as I type this, has actually increased in value over the year. Dapper shot itself in the foot over and over again. I was enjoying Top Shot and their challenges until they kept moving the goal posts. I know they thought they were being really creative with some of their challenges like the Wheel challenges but it just made it way more difficult to complete challenges.

Why spend a bunch on moments that you really don't want when the reward is usually worth multiples less than what it cost to acquire.

They also took away the FOMO by making packs too easy to obtain and flooding the market with a lot of worthless moments.

I find it interesting that some folks are dancing on it's grave, while I've found it to be both profitable and fun.

Oh I'm still way up!

But I got lucky AF back in March of last year.

I still squeeze profit out of the drops, but nothing near the level of a year ago.

I've made my share of bad decisions when it came to TS, bought at the wrong time and didn't sell at the peak. Still slightly ahead between my Dapper credit and my moments (including UFC ones).

I'm collecting them at this point, it's kinda fun.

i am up, but could have been up way more if TS just stayed on course and was true last year. Hate to see everything falling apart in front of our eyes.

A year ago sales were epic. Everyone was debating on which luka was better cool cats or other s1.

They lost me a while ago. I brought 5 or 6 people to TS. TS couldn't keep them engaged.

Also, after 6 months of waking up at God awful hours for drops out here in Aus, the best packs I ever got was the ones everyone else got too.

Throwdowns S2 an Archive (which they totally effed up the challenges along with WNBA).

Just really poor management.

Now I see the moments have tanked so hard. Kudos to those grinding though that are maybe doing OK still.

This has always fell under the "collect what you like" banner to me. If you want to collect screenshots that are "limited"... By all means get after it.

I'd check in the thread every now and again to see if it had imploded yet but made it a point not to past anything negative about it. If other people want to buy them who am I to tell em different. It's people out there that collect ketchup bottles... It's their movie I'm just a co star.

It was annoying seeing people swear they would get rich off these and that others where dumb for not playing along.

At the end of the day you have what you paid for.

Solid playoff pack drop yesterday, more in the queue than packs they had available. Good for demand.

Also got my challenge reward for Brunson. Got a 3 digit, sold it for a slight premium and then bought a decently cheaper 4 digit one.

I like the playoff design on the moments

WNBA starting tonight as well, I’ve been doing the rookie versions of the WNBA challenges. With having the full set it was essentially free to complete.

Also was able to do the Deshields veteran challenge as well so gonna have a couple airdropped WNBA packs next week once challenge is over
