PPV was fantastic except for the Sunday night time slot. I fell asleep a few times and it had nothing to do with the matches

I was exhausted after the UFC fight Saturday

So to be fair I guess Sunday worked. Haha

So I was at the show last night and I thought it was a pretty good show overall. A couple of observations...

1. The crowd was hot all night long very impressive for a 5 hour show.
2. The pre show matches were awesome and probably should have all been on the main card. Leyla/ Kris Stat was the womens match of the night, House of Black vs. Death Triangle was hard hitting and really well paced. The crowd is nuts for House of Black.
3. The ladder match had major issues at the end and I am not sure how much of this was shown on TV but the match fell apart when Orange got hurt on the dive. At the end of the match when all the big guys were fighting on the stage you could tell Christian and Starks were scrambling with the ref to change plans because obviously Orange was supposed to do something but he was unable to. The match ending ended up kind of cluster.
4. I had no idea how poorly the Britt Baker/ Rosa match was received. There live I knew it wasn't a great match but I didn't think it would get the hate that it is getting in the IWC. I honestly thought the Jade/ Tay match was much much worse.

Great reception for Jeff Hardy! Surprised he entered with the Hardy Boys theme, but I guess they own it. If the Hardy's do tag, should be a good boost to the division.

The Tag team division needed a boost. Mox/Danielson and now possible the Hardy’s

WOW.. Is Scorpio Sky going to be the shortest champ ever and lose to Wardlow next week, and Wardlow has to give MJF the belt like it says in his contract with MJF.

No. MJF will cost Wardlow the title. Sets up a match for Wardy to get out of the contract with MJF. At least that's how I'd book it.

I don't know.. I don't know if they dump Wardlow in his first ever feud with MJF or Spears. They actually may have them costing Wardlow the match, and Wardlow takes ATT apart, bringing Archer out, since he is with Lambert too. Plus, Archer is a guy they build as a monster, but gets fed to other monsters.

I have caught some AEW the last couple of weeks.
Now forgive me as I am a dinosaur where televised matched when I was a kid were talent vs jobber and maybe 1 match per week where a jobber wasn't involved.
Late 70's.

I don't know a lot of these wrestlers but I must say the product is good.
The athleticism is incredible.
Also nice to see Stephen Regal last night as well.

So The Inner Circle is over, but now we basically get The Jericho Fan Club faction? Seems odd, especially having Garcia and 2.0 in it. I would have preferred Jericho & Hager just staying together.

Jeff Hardy debuting was good to see, even if he danced and things on the ramp before running down while his brother was getting beat down. The Hardys definitely makes the tag division better, and they should be champions before too long.

I like Regal with Danielson and think that would have been a better way to go instead of involving Moxley too. But interested to see where they go.

Not sure why Hirsch wasn't getting the shot against Baker next week automatically, since Rosa just had her shot at the PPV and Layla is the #1 contender, so thats odd. Not a Layla fan but still.

Im not as big on Sky as a lot of ppl are. I think he's fine in the ring but probably would not have givin him the TNT title here, unless they're putting it on Wardlow next week. I could see that happening OR Spears costing Wardlow, because I dont think they'll do Wardlow vs MJF, at least not yet anyway. Oh and can we go back to just having ONE TNT title please

It's definitely a "sweet and sour" thing, which will be used to elevate Mox. You can already tell by the way the set it up with Regal talking glowingly about Danielson and then basically saying, "...and there's this guy Mox who's crazy." LOL

They are doing with Daniel Garcia and 2.0, the same think they ddi with Sammy G. Jericho will put them over. All three have so much talent and are getting good in the ring. I really like what they did her. I don't like Hager tho. He sucks on the mic and isn't that great in the ring.

I think 2.0 is kind of a lost cause. Neither really stands out. And Garcia really needs something, he's very boring and has pretty much no charisma, so I guess that's where Jericho comes in for him.

Hager I'll disagree with, because I think he's actually pretty good in the ring.

^^^ It went up the same day for pre-order, I think it's a RingSide Collectibles exclusive so it won't be in stores...

the Sky-Wardlow match was so bad..LOL

The ending was worst. I get the MJF costing him, but 7 on 1.

They really should have had Sky just beat Wardlow. Wardlow is still very green and has what 3 moves he uses, and a clear win could really help Sky.

They could have built the MJF- wardlow feud on his loss.

The Womens match was amazing. Love Britt, but it was time to dethrone her. Her title matches were getting blah.

I’m still not happy on how they let Wardlow get attacked. Made no sense. There is alot of talk Cage may emerge and join MJF and Spears.

I’m loving the Mox and Danielson team, but I hope they don’t add to them. They gotta get the belts right??

I’m waiting on Sting and Darby to turn on the Hardy’s.

Good show tho.

He just signed a new 4 year deal with AEW. I think he's been injured and has been rehabbing

This should settle it for anyone wondering whether the Cody angle was a work:

I'll miss him with AEW.

I dont see Cody as a big deal honestly. If he goes to the WWE he'll be lost in the shuffle quick because he doesnt stand out. He would have had a better place in AEW I think.

He will likely be put into main event scene right away after Brock losses title and they make some new title for Raw.

Oh I can see him getting main matches for the first few months yes. But I dont see the fans caring much and he'll be in the mid card like he was before.
