C'mon, 20/21 fanatics blasters. Let the hype push prices of 19/20 up more.

I feel like actual target stores will hate only 1 per person.....because if they have a WEEK worth of product, they won't sell out in the morning and will have to keep dealing with people all Friday coming in and asking for cards. Now with 3 per sku, they sell out within 10-20 minutes in the morning and are done with it for another week

But I've realized target corporate and target stores have such a big disconnect between decisions made and what's actually happening on the ground at stores

I think 1 per SKU would be reasonable. 1 item per person is insane and will take way too much time and manpower.

Agreed. I may actually consider waiting in line if that would be the case.

Yea, these companies literally don't care anymore. All these dumb in store limits all while the last few releases have had drops that were fractions as large as products previously dropped.

They are literally just dropping products on their site, letting 10-20 people who know nothing about sports cards but have a bot to "cop" every funko, sneaker and pool (yes, pools are the new craze for these beacons of society to flip) and just flip them all to other people who know just as little about sports cards for 10x MSRP to hold sealed or run their group breaks where they know 1/4 of the players in the product.

At least when in store flippers were getting quantity prices settled on the secondary market when these products were flooded in stores. The last few releases this has not happened since these big box stores seemed to have changed their business model and decided to let either bot users pick everything up or have 40 guys who camp out the night before each get a box or two.

So now the people buying into breaks are buying in at prices that are way more inflated than usual and getting reemed way harder than usual. So Panini is pretty much alienating the last group of people who are interested in having the sealed wax opened.

I know BO members seem to look down on people who buy into group breaks, but they are literally the lifeblood of the modern hobby right now as virtually no one is opening wax for themselves anymore.

We can make fun of the people who buy into group breaks as much as we'd like and talk about how they're gamblers who love to burn money or whatever, but if their ROI goes down considerably in a few months, even the least trained collector/most degen gambler is going to notice and take their money elsewhere.

i have been collecting for decades and agree, but I also have done box breaks for years, they used to be cheaper and 4 of my biggest cards I got in breaks amazingly. I spent $3500 in 2003 intentionally to break boxes and get Lebrons. Bottom line I will make around 100K or more off that investment, it all goes to the kids. No way you can do that now.

I hate that we cannot but affordable Prizm this year when I got a ton of it for under 3k last year and still have one cello box sealed.

Swimming pools. It's honestly not a new flip. Been a flip for a while but it's a seasonal flip obviously

you guys need to wake up and smell the coffee. You don't need a bot. Just get in a discord. I did and was able to grab my 2 this morning. Sold one already for $500. Made my profit and got one free. Great stuff.

JOIN A DISCORD! YOU CAN THANK ME LATER!!!

Yea, for sure that is an amazing investment you made at the time. Seems like no deals to be had like that now though unfortunately..

Lol, yes swimming pools. Not sure if it's new or not, but definitely think they have spiked bc of covid and people wanting to have their own and not having to go public places.

Saw some links for pools dropped today in a group I'm in which does a lot of cards & NFTs and I was like is this really how low we have sunk? smh

When did they get listed? I’ve been trying to find info about them and have failed miserably. I’ve mainly checked their site but even a Google search doesn’t seem to show the product.

11:00 AM CST. They were gone from the site around 11:04, maybe sooner.

How did you know when they released? Not that we had a shot at getting it, but was it through a fanatics email or something? I had no idea about last year’s release until the restock, but didn’t take advantage of it then sadly.

Im in a discord that pinged these instantly. My discord is full of bot heavy people but I’ve seen 0 bot checkout success screenshots it was all with Apple Pay and no one got more then 3 or 4 orders I got 2 manual orders myself after being a minute late to the party. Go find a discord group.

I don’t know if I can bring myself to support a person or group of people by paying them for a discord group, but I’m glad BO folks are finally getting some

I’m in a discord and no bots in our group cooked but I personally was able to get 10 boxes using Apple Pay myself. Me and the kiddo will be ripping slowly after his baseball games once we receive them

If you aren’t in discord group you are WAY behind the game.
