Yes, the oldest graduated from my place of employment in 2022 and got a job in Philly. Middle attends my place of employment. Youngest went elsewhere for freshman year. This is why I have no money for cards anymore.

Yes this is the mentality. Might be easier for anOSU when the playoff opens up to 12 teams.

That way The Game doesn't have to define them, like CJ said.

Actually we are probably only gonna see this version of The Game 1 more time, once expansion hits the conference in 24 (if it does), I think the Division set up will be gone and it will just be the top 2 teams going to the Championship game, so we could very well see a back 2 back week rematch assuming they keep The Game in its traditional final regular season slot

Hmm...that is interesting. My guess is they wouldn't let that happen more than once without rearranging things to make it structurally impossible again. Think of the screaming from other schools!

That would suck. Expanded playoffs already would take a lot of the juice out of the game if both teams are already in the playoffs. If those teams are destined for a rematch for the Big Ten title game the next week, than the first game really doesn't mean much in that scenario.

I still think they just incorporate the conference championship games as a defacto week one of the playoffs. Maybe have the at large teams and non conference do a play-in game the same week. Winners of conference games and play-ins get seeded in the final bracket.

Every regular season game will still mean a lot. Getting a top 4 seed and a bye will be huge. If the first two rounds are played on campus, the seeding will be even more important.

Conference championship games aren't going anywhere. Conferences make too much money on them. Doing away with divisions and having your two best teams in the championship game is the best case. tOSU is out of the playoff with a loss. If they were playing Michigan next week, they could play themselves back in with a win.
