I grabbed the currys because they may be used for the gsw/dallas series. But in the past there had always been a challenge for all the playoff moments. Might as well hold at those prices and hope they utilize them in some way.

Top 5 in blocks for Cs/heat.
2 challenge reward moments from 2021 PO series. (2)

Then all the new round 2 playoff moments of the teams and who they beat in 2nd round. (8)

Think its 17 total for each challenge.

No 1st round moments needed. And thats why they are all down to $3ish range.

What will bring people back is the hope of free money.

Which is what drops used to be. So if these Magic packs were $50 each, you'd have people lining up (at least temporarily).

But instead TopShot wants to rake in the value of these. No different than Panini changing FOTL to a dutch auction format, or PSA jacking up grading prices.

The game right now is line your pockets, not to build the hobby/brand.

Well for Round 1 they did a specific one, only using Round 1 moments:

So I was just curious if they are doing to do something similar for R2 where is just uses the moments from the packs last week.

They're rarely consistent, so probably not

I really liked TopShot but it is really sad to see what they have done with it by trying to milk every last dollar out of the users/collectors.

I'm so glad, I sold my 550+ moments over a month ago. I would have been down another 25% if I held on.

It is just a steady decline of the total market cap. The market cap is now lower than before the last pack drop even with 260k+ new moments added.

I've never collected topshot, but it would work well for them to simplify the process. For a new person looking at that website it might as well be in chinese. How about I pay and open a pack? How does that work?

Open an account, go to "DROPS" and scroll down. You'll see a start pack at the bottom. You can purchase that with a credit card. I would suggest also doing the KYC(Know Your Customer). I dont think you have to do it beforehand but that's up to you. Have fun and only spend money that you're willing to lose.

This is my biggest problem. I've been on it since january 2021 and feel like the challenge notation is so confusing.

I really think they should have used #'s for the moments to help navigate. So instead of having 20 steph curry 3 pointers each card in a set would have a number.

I decided to go look at the subreddit for Top Shot. Wow some people really are delusional. With the season about to wrap up, interest in the NBA is about to drop like normal. Top Shot is going to hit new lows in the coming months I think.

Ended up selling those moments, as I had Landale already (Spurs set) & I didn't want Brunson & was hoping for Luka/Steph.
