The NBA is dying out fast!

No more must watch players like Jordan, Kobe or Lebron. Rivalries are a thing of the past. Real basketball has been replaced by a 48 minute 3 point contest.

It makes for some ugly basketball. Every team is the exact same.

We're encroaching on a territory where nearly half the shots in every NBA game is a 3. You have guys like Andrew Wiggins taking 7 even when it's obvious it's not the night.

Crazy town.

Cade is nice this year.

Fixed his early issues with creating space on shots.

He's turning out to be the better version of Lamelo.

a 7-ft horse trainer who passes like Magic, has Kareem's touch, and shoots 50% from 3 isn't a unicorn? Get your eyes checked

Lol. If he can get to even 3 titles let's put him in the convo with those names. Embiid, how looks a train wreck right now, has had Jokic on skates for years. Embiid!

Right now he's just a cheat code that beat some chumps one season.

Speaking of Embiid. Yikes. This dude might fade out quick. Bullying a female ref like he's matched up on Joker at home.

Gross behaviour

Nope. You clearly don’t understand to context of the word unicorn here.

Wonder how many people complaining now was yelling boring back when teams were giving you fundamental basketball. And with success…

You were complaining amongst the youth that are now flooding the league and want to be seen and celebrated. Played yourself?

You’re simplifying the NBA’s problem by boiling it down to one issue.

No, we were not complaining when we had a league full of competitors creating great story lines instead of 30 teams of friends who don’t care what happens as long as they are getting paid.

Basketball is getting pretty fun. Really enjoyed the Pacers-Warriors, the 76ers-Spurs was not bad. Even Grizz-Atlanta was competitive. I know from a hobby standpoint the wrong teams won.... there are organizations actively creating great teams, they just don't inhabit big markets.

The story lines and rivalries are definitely lacking.

I don’t think shooting a bunch of 3s is the real issue. Do y’all want to watch less efficient basketball? Do we want to bring back hero ball isos of the 2000s? Yuck

Do we want absolute defensive slugfests from the 90s? No thanks

I get it that people hate watching LaMelo or Jordan Poole chuck up 1 legged 30fters but watching Stephon Marbury dribble for 20 seconds to take a contested mid ranger was pretty awful too

MJ had buddies all around the league. You didn't know he was besties with Larry and Charles, among others? Only dudes he hated were his own teammates.

You say this and then get upset when Ant shows some passion and cusses in an interview about officiating?

Wolves and Nuggs have a great rivalry. Nuggs also have rivalries with Lakers and Suns.

Hawks have good rivalries with Knicks and Celtics.

i 100% want defensive slugfests, i think that’s what pushes the elite playmakers to the top of the mountain! i also love the defensive side of competition more than offense in most sports so i’m probably in a large minority of where I find enjoyment and entertainment within competition.

Ever since 5 out came around it's just not a fun game to watch. They should call 3 sec if no one from the offensive team is moving.

Are you even old enough to have watched MJ play?

I'm 39. Yeah I started watching NBA when I was 6. Was hoop-obsessed by the time I was 8.

I dont have a problem with some post game swearing, I have a problem with Anthony Edwards’ attitude specifically.

I guess meeting once or twice in the playoffs counts as a rivalry now.
