Picked up my first PSA 10 Bat Down for $610 on eBay this evening. Pretty excited, but also hoping they don't drop too much more. All in all a win since I nearly pulled the trigger last week when they were ~$850.

2 others closed at $600 (seemed to have a hint of white) and $625. One more remaining at $625 with 45 minutes left. 4 auctions closing tonight. Several hit the block within a couple days of each other. 2 closing tomorrow and 2 more 3-5 days out.

There's also been a decent looking raw sitting at BIN for $250 for a week. Im trying to wrap my head around why nobody is going after it.

I dont know if it's just the glare from the photo, but the top edge looks a bit choppy.

People buy on the "news"...and Acuna has had 1 at bat in the 9 days...gives potential buyers a breather too to look at other prospects. This is the brief lull that some buyers have been hoping for...buy now while you can because once the players hit the field again, that's when activity in the cards will pick up dramatically.

Seems right now Acuna is more of an "if" than a "when".

Awful time to have any Acuña ending. Sandwiched between a bunch of eBay Bucks deals and the certificates coming through in a few days. Might get some good deals the next two days while people wait to spend their Bucks.

based on the bat down activity, it could be seen as that...but also don't know at what price most of the current sellers got in on their bat downs. If most pulled the card themselves or even bought early on when it was 20-30, at 300 raw, that's still a very nice profit. As mentioned by someone else, gem mints were in the 300s a few months ago...selling now at 600 is still a nice flip. And keep in mind that the bat down is really not super rare...it was a SP and not SSP...with an estimated print run at 20,000 cards....that's a lot. I haven't been tracking but low # flagship cards, I'm betting those are not showing up at reduced prices. If it's truly an "if" on Acuna, would think more low numbered rookies would start to appear as part of a larger sell-off. Sure most of his base cards like US250 has trended down about 5-10% or more over the past 10 days or so (due to less buyers which has caused those selling dropping prices against each other)...but again, it's because he's not on the field. There will be short term fluctuations, especially on base cards with large print runs, but you won't see that same activity with the low numbered cards. That's why some here say sell your base cards and reinvest into low # parallels or low print cards...if you can find them.
