Same seller had a few that ended at around the same time. 2 other PSA 10's ended at $610 and $620 and he had 2 9.5's end at $295 (not true gem) and $357 (gem mint+). I wonder how much lower they can go if he has a bad playoff performance.

Likely due to the horrible title descriptions. Topps 2 , No mention of #698, 10 separated from the PSA, etc. Things like that might make it miss a some of the typical searches.

I wouldn't have seen it.

Same. My saved search has 698 in it. How hard is it to look at sold listings and see what has worked for others?

Although the best is when someone just types "(insert any name) baseball card"

Bump for playoffs. I'm always a realist so my expectations are usually low but there must be a super Acuna Jr. fan at ESPN because they have yet another article today hyping him. Guy could be gimpy today and sports articles calling him the shizz nizz. Ironic a bit. Pray for the best if that's what it takes.

From the Standard.10 sub? I sent in 3 Acunas in that one as well. My Blue shirt only got a 9 though

Feels like all the hate has gone out of this thread now and it's safe to come back. It's always going to be tough when guys don't jump on the train early there will always be hate for various reasons (Lebron, Trout).

Like the above ESPN article mentions former players/managers/scouts all fawn over Acuna. It's never one thing in particular it's just more a when you see it you know it thing that they always mention. Really nice read and hope you all get to read it, really made me think of Griffey.
