Can’t freaking figure out how to post pictures! Anyway…
RJ Barret Red Rookie Ticket Blue Home Jersey /149 Auto. Little disappointed in the grade. Got an 8.5 with a 10 auto. Bottom left corner was a little soft, one small surface dimple and centering looked to be just a tiny bit off. I thought all that added up to a 9 or 9.5. Obviously I was wrong! The high res pictures they add are great and the card looks really good in the tux! I’ll post more when I get the cards in hand. |

I agree. Pictures being available immediately is a great feature. I’ve been very impressed with SGC.

Wow…..I just check my account and yes indeed. While PSA leaves people in the dark, SGC continues to improve and gain support from the hobby. I am not going to say they will become #1 but #2 is well within reach while the big 2 are closed.

that looks great. C'mon SGC lets get a registry in place and really get buzz going!! That is still a glaring hole.
I would also love for them to go back and start authenticating autos again. I have some 2005 All Americans that I would like to match up with already graded ones. |

I hope my cards will move to graded today. Received at SGC on 8/12, so following the timeline it should be soon.

So, I just got the grades back on my first ever grading shipment. I sent these 3 cards, first grade is what I thought they would get, second is what they got.
Mike Trout 2011 Bowman Chrome 175 7.0 8.0 Mike Trout 2011 Topps Finest 94 8.0 8.5 Ronald Acuna Jr 2018 Topps Update Rookie Debut Gold 9.0 9.5 Considering I was into the 2 Trout's for $40 total, and pulled the Acuna from a clearance pack, I'm happy.

Here are the 4 cards I sent to SGC. They marked them as received on 8/6 and I had them back in my possession on 8/19 so not a bad turnaround time at all.
I'm happy with all the grades except the Brooks. I was really hopeful it would 10/10 or at the very least 9.5/10. Definitely disappointed it was a 9/10. |

Just got back into the hobby after long time away and trying to figure out grading as a noob.
After some research, made a sub to PSA of potential high value cards (4 1980 Bird/Erving/Magic rookies), made a sub to HGA of 20 cards on value/60 day order and a sub to SGC of 12 cards on 20-25 day order. As this is the SGC thread - my experience to date is as follows: 8/13 - received by SGC 9/3 - still at "Received" (which for those counting is 21 calendar days & 15 business days) Saw others were popping at 20 calendar days, so got my hopes up for yesterday but still well under their estimated time so can't complain. |

The slower turnaround times are a good thing. Means the demand for SGC $30 grading is still there and people are using it more. Might help the value of everyone's cards
![]() My PSA bulk order has been sitting at PSA for over a year now. 20 to 25 business days to me is lightening fast!

My 8/13 order just went into post-grading, I'm hoping I don't need to wait until after the holiday weekend to see the grades but it's looking like that's probably going to be the case.

People can discount SGC if they want, it is their right. From my last few orders and what I have sold thus far, with great ROI, SGC makes much more sense with each passing month. Yes I have large numbers of cards to grade, was PSA. CSG backlog is far too long as well. HGA was never going to get any of my card. BGS and PSA are basically closed to the average person. I don’t worry about money I did not make by waiting. This hobby moves fast and in 1 year the players we are holding to grade could have blown up and come back down to earth.
