This right here! This is NEVER a good idea. Stick to the “gold standard,” only sell what you have. A lot of these transaction messes would clear up quick.

Well done!!!

In bear markets, LOW PRs are returned to their rightful owners.

Years ago Ebay stopped the leaving of Negative Feedback to buyers.

That was an atrocious move by Ebay.

Relax and do your own thinking.

Personally, I am not into the signed versions by the artist, and I have no idea what this "fanny pack" thing is, and I have no interest in it.

Yesterday there was this countdown for some "companion" card; no interest.

How many members here were "persuaded" or "convinced" to purchase the "companion" cards because of the countdown?

Do your own thinking and observe what you think you need to keep an eye on, for now or for the future.

Fortunately I was in early and I am having fun no matter what happens.

Just have fun.
Also makes me wonder if some of the members here are agents for some of the artists.

dang 10 pages since I last read.

We still upset?

It's Saturday. Have some fun. Buy some cards.

I will say that "He went to Joseph" meme that Ninja posted was hilarious.

I had a crazy thought. It seems like player run sets might be the most popular. If 3000 people decide they are going to do a complete Trout set, and they only want the 20 Trout cards, and they decide to accomplish this no matter the price, then there will be no complete 400 card sets ever available. I think the total number of complete sets won't be zero, but it'll probably be VERY low.

I miss several post but I don't see a lot of talk about Fucci Trout. It has a pretty low print run but more talk of the Thiele and Baller.

Sidenote... I bought a Fucci for under $140 last night but I do plan to buy the other 2 also.

I haven't checked in, in about 24hrs. Still doom and gloom w/ flo charts, boasting about who was right and PR's not mattering? With a side of...nows a great time to buy and a great time to sell?

...how much is my fanny worth these days?

Complete set people will find a way...everything is available for the right price! But you are correct. Set/artist/player collectors will drive this. And remember, this number will include and accumulation of all set/artist/player collectors over time...not just now...but anyone who discovers this product from here on out...

Needless to say...now would be a pretty ok time to buy ; )

Player sets and artist sets will be way more popular than the complete 400 card set. I think there will be less than 100 complete project 2020 sets when all is said and done.

You nailed it man. After the dust settles, the set collectors are still looking for:
Player runs
Artist runs
Complete set

Low PRs are gonna be maybe 5-8 on eBay in a week.
Just my hunch.

The answer is we don’t know. There aren’t really cards in hand from PRs over 5k for people that aren’t Trout or Jeter and a lot of people don’t sell until they have a card in hand (e.g. Matt Taylor Jeter and Thomas, similar print runs within about 500 cards of each other, 95 active Thomas listings, 329 Jeters). So we don’t know how the market clears when we get to all of the sellers selling (there’s a chance that 5k cards of a less popular player is too many, it depends on how you read the PR increases in terms of flippers vs collectors). I kinda suspect 8k+ is going to be a lot for some of the cards. I think we’ll start to get answers towards the end of next week when the Saladeen Mays/Chang Ichiro are in more hands.

RETURN IT! You shouldn't have to pay for your child's accidental purchase.

People whining about the Baller Trout prices.

I sold 2 last Sunday for $50. I did not care then, I do not care now.

The card cost me $15.

Is 50 more than 15? Cool. I'm not greedy like the influx of people to this thread.

I have been trying to tell people

call eBay and explain. They are helpful
