Luka is fun to watch, even if the Mavs are not. As I said early in the season, “Go Luka! Mavs? I could care less.”

I watched the first 3 minutes of the game. Went to watch something with wife and turned it back on and it was halftime and the Mavs behind. Told a friend the would lose and Luka would have a huge game.

Thoughts:

I AM NOT COMPARING HIM TO JORDAN OVERALL. BUT:

People forget how bad the Bulls were in his early years. Jordan put up crazy numbers and the LOST a lot! The fortunes of Jordan did not change until Pippen and ultimately Rodman showed up! Luka Rules apply now! Let him get his, well they really cannot stop him, and shut down everyone else. DO NOT PANIC SELL! His time will come! Marathon runners don’t concern themselves about the first 3 miles.

The overall point is that Jordan didn’t win it all until he was 27. He had several mountains to climb and eventually he did. But it was never just him.

Oh for sure. If KP plays like an average PF last night the Mavs win that game. Can't even imagine how good they'll be when they get a legit #2 to take some of the heat off Luka consistently in close games instead of hoping one of the coin flip guys lands on heads on any given night.

This is my point. Give him time and other players to want to play with him and we will see. If today’s environment existed when Jordan was 22-25 he would have been deemed overrated. Give it time. Give it time. Patience will pay off.

The only reason Luka stuff has not jumped is because it had been so high and people are moving out of lower end and trying to upgrade. There will be another run up on Luka stuff. When? Not sure, but his prices are at a discount and as more of the millions of Luka cards return from PSA, THE BASE PRIZM MIGHT SETTLE AROUND 600-700 unless there becomes a resistance before that number is hit.
