Speaking of computers, the BIOS update didn't help. I think this 21 year old processor might be bad!!! I'm asking for an exchange. Will update when it arrives and I test again. Until then probably no vintage computer chats.

Me I live a boring existence so not much to talk about. My wife got us tickets to see the Comedian Southern Mama this Saturday in Hattiesburg I think I pissed off my wife when I said I hope she didn’t pay for the tickets. I have seen him on YouTube just not my cup of tea.

You are missed in the Yankees thread; especially when we are invaded by Trashtros fans who I don't remember posting much around here when they stunk. You know, just like Orioles, Blue Jays, and Tampa fans.

I never post that much in the Yankees thread during the off-season as it is all just speculation and other franchises pointing out another year has gone by without the Yankees winning a World Series. Once the roster is set and the season gets rolling I will be back to posting in there.

I like the Samuel Adams mixed winter with the chocolate stout but my real seasonal winter favorite is Sam Smiths chocolate stout from London it comes in 25 ounce bottles and is 10 percent alcohol by volume, it has gotten harder to get as the beer distributor in Fondren Mississippi where I got it from moved further away but they have the best selection. As far as music for the holidays The Carpenters are for my softer side and The Trans-Siberian orchestra is something that is a good listen for the holidays, I saw them in concert last year and it was pretty good.

It gets us by a boring off season and winter though.

I remember a time back in the day where I was told not to post negative things in the Red Sox thread. It's a shame the moderators don't enforce that now against some of these obnoxious fans who all of a sudden experience some winning and get argumentative in the other teams threads. Now, I only post nice things in the Red Sox thread and keep the trash talk (not that the Red Sox are good anymore to compete with the Yankees) to that trash talk thread.

Honestly as time goes by longer and longer, I think he turns out to be a liar about wanting to be a "Yankee for life" and signs with the Giants. It will probably be a god deal in the ling run for the Yankees, but it will hurt for a few years as they will have no one homegrown to associate as the face of the Yankees and they will have to figure out how to replace his bat and gold glove defense in right field.

I know the Yankees are 8 years 300 million with most likely the captaincy and other incentives. I don’t know what the Giants have offered but one thing in their favor is their fanbase hasn’t booed a player that broke a home run record of the American League that stood for 61 years.

Part of not going in the thread right now is what you said I don’t go into the thread to fight with other fan bases I just like discussing the games and what the Yankees are doing,yippee 4 more years of Cashman.

Not to mention, the serious Eagles fans around here are usually already angry at their team's performance even when they're blowing the other team out.

Yep but it is not stocked that often and for some reason they seem to charge more in Mississippi than what it costs in other places.

The Giants fans are just as bad as the eagles fans criticizing their own team but they can’t be giving away games like they did against Washington a sure win turned into a tie and they are not beating Philadelphia this week so 7-5-1 with 4 games left I predicted 8-9 this year so it will be close.

There are a lot more for some reason. A lot of fatalities, too.
