Not sure what to make of France. I admittedly haven’t watched a single second of their games. Common thing I’ve heard was they beat the US because their size created a huge matchup advantage. I think we (and heck yea I’m using we) should fare better. Was surprised to see that Slovenia has the top two rebounders in the whole tournament

They've got Gobert and Fournier. Gobert is always hard to score against inside. They'll need some good shooting or a lot of plays in transition

For them to medal would be crazy considering the roster makeup compared to the other 3 squads. Rooting for Luka.

Gobert is too slow to keep up with this Slovenia team. Just push the pace and bring Tobey out of the paint.

I’m sad. On the one hand I want Luka to just take the shot but he saw the double coming degree of difficulty is much higher than the opportunity he set up for Dragic. Just tremendous recovery and block. Nothing you can do about it

They had that game it was a great block by Batum to win the game for France. No block easy layup and Slovenia wins the game by 1 point. Sad ending but the way it goes sometimes.

Luka didn't have the shooting touch today, an off day. But still he recorded only the 3rd triple double in Olympic history with 16 pts 18 ast 10 reb. They did well to make it as far as they did.

Luka took it upon himself to play for a team of nobody, I doubt the same could be said of any Team USA players (if not a majority of them). Luka did the right thing, the pass to the guy had the hot hand.

The Mavs should really sign Mike Tobey. That guy can play. Mavs have 5 centers and none are as good as him. He is exactly the type of big man they need. Can shoot the ball from outside some, good in transition, and is very effective inside and on the boards.

TBH it wouldn’t surprise me if this is exactly the reason they’ve been quiet. Waiting for the tournament to end. Not sure there aren’t 1 or 2 others who shouldn’t be getting offers too

Any updates on the possible Luka injury the announcers mentioned repeatedly? It seemed as though the injury kept him from taking pretty much any shots late in the game, which explains the high assist total.
