How did you figure it would go to NJ just because it was a TCG order? I've sent 3 bulk orders. First regular bulk submission 32 cards went to NJ. Second TCG bulk special, 32 cards but it went to CA. Sent a July bulk TCG special 36 cards hoping it would go to CA again since it was a special but it went to NJ.

I see another difference now actually. The first special was just "TCG" that went to CA. The last special was "Pokemon" that went to NJ. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Not sure. I don't see any predictability.

Good news: this absolutely works and it just worked for me.

Bad news: I’ve graded a ton over the years and got absolutely hosed on a 30 card sub. 42% gem rate

Returned from NJ? Ever noticed much of a difference between CA and NJ?

I've only been at this a year. 3 submissions 30 card+ each time. 1st one from NJ was under 50% Gem. 2nd submission returned from CA was about 2/3 Gem. Last sub returned from NJ was about 50% Gem.

Looking over my graded cards returned to me by NJ, there is definitely new damage that wasn't previously there on some of them.

I didn't take pictures of every card I sent. Might have pictures of some.

Took pics of every card in my first bulk submission and then that seemed like a waste of time. But there was a handful of cards that were important to me and I should have been careful to take pictures of those.

What’s weird is that 3 of my past bulk submissions were graded by NJ graders and for the most part I had great results. Some higher up must’ve recently cut bathroom privileges or something.

From other posts I see here the consistency is all over the place regarding NJ gem rates.

They were shipped to California, and both were shipped back to me from New Jersey.

I personally think there's no concrete formula to know which facility (CA or NJ) is grading sports cards, as they use the NJ option for sports when they're extremely backed up as they likely were when my cards were submitted.

This is also likely why this month's specials kind of suck because they use the specials to throttle a balance between membership perks and demand. Just a guess, but that makes sense.

Streamlines the workflow improving product quality, efficiency, standardization, customer satisfaction, etc.

Right now, we have baffling PSA grades with no explanation.

After graders notes are implemented across the board, we'll simply have baffling notes with no evidence on the card. It will be "Surface issue on front" as a catch-all note for every baffling low grade less than a 10, and customers will be more confused than ever.

I could totally be wrong, but that's just my pessimistic view of "grader notes" on lower tiers.

Supposed to arrive back to me on Thursday.

I live in Nevada, mail my orders to Cali and they proceed to send it all the way to NJ for grading. Seems pretty inefficient!

11-10's, 8-9's, 1-8

Overall pretty meh (15/20 cards were from 2023), had a courtside true gold Cam Whitmore get a 9 that I thought for sure would 10, but then got a 10 on a 2012 Prizm Finalist Green Ray Allen that I was expecting no better than a 9 and if I'm reading the pop report correctly is a pop 1! Sent in 2 game used Lebron Patch cards from this years obsidian that seemed flawless to me that got an 8 & 9. Never buying another card that isn't standard thickness with the intention to grade and resell (it is a really great looking set though)!
