For my packages that arrived 8/16, all were logged this Mon and Tues.

And my 24 card elite batch due 9/11 was finished on 8/29 & my 32 card direct to grading batch due 9/1 was finished earlier tonight.

Good luck to others on their subs.

For some light relief, I submit this as a candidate for the most optimistically priced card on COMC.

Just had 5 cards process. 4 1960's and 1961's all tagged EX-NM, which isn't a thing on COMC for vintage. The other was oddly tagged P-F. So, 0 for 5. They really need to get their act together with the "grading".

It is a thing now. Once they started doing grading submissions, they started processing some cards into that EX to NM to bucket. If you think cards in raw buckets should be moved, you can submit change requests on them and COMC will reconsider.

We all liked Pamela Anderson back in the day, but come on.

Are you sure about this for vintage? There are 0 1960 or 1961 topps cards tagged EX-NM (aside from mine, which I haven't priced), which agrees with their stated policy for the raw bucket:

Unless otherwise noted, all Vintage trading cards manufactured 1980 and before are in Excellent (EX) condition or better and all Modern trading cards manufactured after 1980 are in Near Mint-Mint (NM-MT) condition or better.

I have no problem with the grade itself. I do have a problem with being assigned to a sub-raw grading bucket that has never been used for anyone else out of thousands of cards in the sets, mainly because I may get left out when filtering. Obviously, it's more of a principle thing in that I'm frustrated with having to babysit submissions.

They've been doing it based on item corrections. Maybe not always during processing, but it is getting more common. However, it could also lead to you selling even faster via eBay. Because rather than being stuck in a drop down menu with 20 other of the same card, an EX to NM bucket will get a different eBay listing.
If the card is better than NM, then submit a correction request. If it's not, they're categorizing your card correctly for buyers on eBay or who submit to grading.

This is why everyone who buys ports should put serious research into determining the value. This seller is well known for buying common cards and jacking them up to the stratosphere.

Yes, definitely common on COMC. I buy a lot of cards in bulk on ebay or goodwill and, many of them have non sports cards. Many times, I'll look them up, see one at $40 or 60 and get briefly excited only to see that name as the seller. It happens commonly enough where I expect to see that name 99 times out of 100 when I see a price over $10 on a movie, tv series or cartoon card. .

Ports are also full of this. If I see one or two specific names selling a port, I automatically know that it will have 9 autos and relics of baseball players who never made the majors and/or practice squad level football players listed at 20-50 dollars paired with about 50-100 epack cards listed at 74 cents. My personal nickname for them is tourist trap ports.

Here is one example from the seller:

https://www.comc.com/Users/Spinberry...ded/COMC/EX-NM

And you can find the entire reprint set for under $10 (including shipping) on ebay.

Seller spinberry is an interesting case study. Over 13,000 listings, and they are still adding stuff.

So I'd suggest in some capacity their selling strategy is actually successful.

Is there a reason they would upcharge me to Elite on 2 1993 Nabisco All-Stars autographs? At first I thought maybe because it had the COA but they didn't note or include it in the listing.

This makes very little sense.
Just because a clown is adding cards does not mean he is selling them...I can assure you he isn't selling many.

Did you send them in a toploader? That's possible. You'd have to ask them.

But since they were still logging packages from 2 weeks ago as recently as yesterday it also means the most likely explanation is they simply haven't got to your package yet and USPS missed the final scan. Obviously, that's a deeply unsatisfactory set of circumstances for you. But its far more likely than carrier theft.

If it's any reassurance, I've followed this thread for four years now and don't remember anyone raising carrier theft in Redmond as an issue previously.

Hopefully for your sake they are near the end of the backlog and would guess that submissions received last week were way lower than normal as many people were trying to beat the promo so once they clear the bulge of packages received on the 16th and 17th it should catch up pretty quickly. But that is only a guess.

In your shoes, I'd probably try not to stress about it for a few days and if you haven't heard anything else by, say, Monday follow up with customer service and ask whether they think they have scanned packages received on the 28th yet.
Still no update on cards, tracking still stating out for delivery on the 29th...

Guessing it would likely be another week before they'd be uploaded?

CS can't tell me anything i don't already know... Is this what COMC is all about?

I'm still waiting for my last Summer 30 promo order to be scanned in which was delivered on August 18th. Anyone still in that situation?

On another note, has anyone seen a pretty big uptick in sales the past few days? Football has certainly energized buyers since I've sold a good number of football cards the past few days but all sales in general are up - probably also partly due to the new inventory coming on from the promo but good to see nonetheless.
