So rumor has it via Twitter this card was also given out for redemptions that could not be fulfilled for other products. I’d say that many were lost or either neglected in the 2 years leading up to his arrival. I know that many of the base and other colored versions were kept roughly in boxes for years, that’s why you see a pop report of grades that reflect that. A PSA 10 is rare for base, I know of 1 person ( the guy I got mine from) that has a GS 9.5/10. Guessing that’s rare.

Good point. I'd bet that all were probably released but how many knew to hold on to it? At the time not many I bet. I don't think Topps sits on a pile of redemption cards that are never sent out.......save for the eTopps stuff locked away in some random warehouse etc.

2019 TC Blue ref PSA 10 just ended for $382. Cheapest one in over a year! Recent sales were $615 and $515.
