Zimmer did it again!

Same as last week with the Titans!!!!!!!! With an 8 point lead in the 4th he goes ultra-conservative and calls analog run plays going 3 and out giving the ball back to the Texans with 3:00 min left. On cue Watson marches right down the field.

FIRE ZIMMER!!!!!!!!!!!

Vikings luck out on a terrible call. Fuller caught that ball. A guy makes a dynamic beautiful acrobatic catch and they take it away from him? Sad.

Now the Vikings go to get the crap kicked out of them by Seattle next week on Sunday night.

Zimmer still sucks donkey nuts.

Yup right call and for me I wasn't sure if i wanted him to catch it or not. Obviously I want to cheer for the Vikings but this season is done. Less wins the better for the tank. But then again, even if he catches it, who's to say they get the 2 pointer.

I, personally, will never root for a loss or tank. Team looked pretty solid for the most part today. Jefferson is a star in the making.

I'm not a huge fan of Cousins, but please enlighten me of who is a better alternative? We should be 2-2 right now if we had a somewhat decent defense. Cousins is a high percentage, accurate QB. He has a near 70% completion since coming to Minnesota. 62 TD's to 22 INT's with a 101.4 rating and a winning record during his time in Minnesota. Cousins is NOT the issue with this team. I will say that time and time again. When he is given time, he is a good quarterback. It's just unfortunate that he is playing behind the type of offensive line that he is to where he is constantly taking hits and being sacked.

Zimmer made the wrong decisions again! AGAIN!!!!!!

Absolute choke

Going on 4th and getting stuffed thus giving Russell Wilson 2:30 to drive and win it?

Why not kick for an 8 point lead?

Unbelievable

Cousins is Cousins and they have to live with him and his stupid contract for a while.
I actually applaud the man for turning mediocre ability into millions of dollars.

Mike Zimmer is a dinosaur who keeps making the wrong decisions.

FIRE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and you can send Spielman right out the door too!

The most frustrating thing with this team is that we aren't a 1-4 team. We should be 3-2 right now with wins over the Titans and Seahawks. If we lose to an 0-5 Falcons team on Sunday, I fully expect Zimmer to be let go.

We'd be better off with a bunny rabbit making our play calls.

That was one for the ages. Incredible.

I think our goal each game should be to play worse than we are now. If we did, that would certainly be accomplishing something. Something is better than nothing, which is what we are now. Nothing.

We are a void in space. We are a fart that never materialized and stayed in the colon.

I am trying to come up with some new way to describe the Vikings franchise QB, you know the one that was supposed to lead this team to the promised land a couple of years ago.

All I can come up with is he is the anti-clutch. Need a big play, he'll throw a pick. Need 5 yards, he'll get you 2. He may show a flash here and there, but in general you know what you got and it is not a winner.

Not exactly sure how a Cousins run on the 2 point conversion was the best this staff could come up with?

The loss against Seattle was not on Cousins. Even with his couple of blunders, him and his offense were in position to come out with a win. Coaching decisions (such as the 2pt attempt you talked about) are the reason we lost this game. They are also the reason we lost the game to the Titans.

The Colts game, however, falls on the shoulders of Cousins. But the offense isn't the issue (well, aside from the offensive line). The questionable play calling and decisions from the coaching staff are a major issue. Our youthful defense is another issue, although they have been improving by the week. Our offense is putting up almost 27 points per week, it's just that our defense is allowing 30 per week.

People that continuously complain about Cousins might as well stop watching the Vikings. He is the QB for this team through 2022. And you know what will happen if we have a different starting QB in 2023? People will complain about him too. Thats all a lot of Vikings fans do. Complain about the QB over and over and over. It has to get tiresome at some point. He isn't going anywhere for the next couple years, so every Vikings fan just needs to get used to it.

Hard to blame them all that much when 21 points came directly off of 2 short fields after the turnovers. Growing pains yes, but they are getting better.

But the defense had the opportunity to stop the Seahawks from marching 94 yards down field and win the game regardless and they didn't do it.

Just for the record, I thought we should have tried to hard count instead of going for it and then kicked the FG to go up 8 because of how vulnerable our defense is. I think the coaching decisions were horrible, from the 2pt attempt play, to going for it on 4th and inches, to not calling a time out on 1st and goal for the Seahawks with 50 seconds remaining.

I honestly hope they eat the 41 million next season and draft a QB. It will be 2 seasons of suck, but at least then maybe there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. I would rather see the team be 1-4 with a rookie QB learning the ropes than 1-4 with a veteran that does nothing for the future of your team. Then 2 years from now you have a crap ton of cap space to chase whatever it is you need.

I like Zimmer and I think Spielman has done a sufficient job finding talent. But maybe you are right that the game has outgrown him and his cronies.

I don't care what the statisticians tell me. You kick that field goal and force them to drive the field AND make a 2 point conversion. I also disagree with going for 2 at the points he did in the Sea and Ten games.

Zero and I mean ZERO chance the Vikings eat 41 million next year by getting rid of Cousins. That would be the dumbest possible move that they could do and it would cost them $10 million more than it would to just pay the contract.

It was 100 percent the right call to go for it. When you have a chance to win the game by gaining inches, you do it every time. If you want to complain, complain about that absurd reverse to thelein when you have been gouging the seahawks all night on the ground with cook and Mattison.
