Someone mentioned that Rattle and King Pokemon had confirmed on discord that it was fake.

It will be interesting about how the rest of the hobby treats the rest of these people. PSA may stop Pokeman pack authentication with BBCE, Meelypops collaborations with other youtubers will probably stop, and all these know-it-all scammers will be heckled for quite a while. I think at this point it is going to be LP trying to capitalize on this to make some money (no surprise there and more power to him), Shyne looking at Meelypops and Cardkahuna like b*tches better get my money, and Meelypops, Cardkahuna, Pokejew and Steve acting like this was an amazing job by the scammer cause Oopsie you got us to try to save face in the hobby.

I don't really have any respect for any of them in this but I'm sure this will be all about damage control to try and limit the lot of them looking absolutely foolish. The video will be there for all eternity as proof of this though so it might not do exactly what they intend. I think they are going to make themselves look even stupider than Rattle's videos made them out to be.

Getting it wrapped 3-4 hours after they got it and selling it the next day seems awfully suspicious to me. Not to mention they were on the phone with shyne the night before they even flew to pick up the package! I understand theyre flippers but the whole situation stinks from very beginning.

If they only paid 100k and they were flipping for a few millions I can see how they were in a big hurry to cash in.

What if the contents were fake and they devise a plan where everyone can save their reputation by doing a fake reveal with real boxes put back in (apparently LP and Gary have many real boxes.)
If they do this then BBCE, meely, shyne, Gary, and Mr $150M can all look like geniuses and save face.
I realize I'm stretching but it's fun to think about -- collusion in the hobby is certainly nothing unheard of.

Rattle does not take bribes though, even if those bribes are for credit/fame.

I hope rattle is silent only because he is in hospital and not because LP hype machine asked him to be because if so there goes his everyday man, just looking out for the community persona.

If he knows its fake and is staying silent, he IS for sale.

He’s made a bunch of videos since the last one so he still looks active. For all we know he could be keeping quiet for legal reasons if his evidence is now part of a case against the scammers.

What does it have to take for the case to be real ? Even if they opened the case, found 1st edition boxes, it still wouldnt be 100% conclusive that the case is real, cause it could be put together by loose sealed boxes.

Don't they have to open every single box to see if the pull rate are consistent ?

It has nothing to do with the YES at the end. I did not even notice or pay attention to that. Who knows, it could have been an edit. It is the Matt Allen's part and the body language of the involved parties in the trailer that makes me think like that plus the underlying suspense. Hope I am wrong....

Gary posted the following on the efour forum regarding what he thinks should be done for verification. It will be interesting to see what the group actually did, especially if it isn’t obvious right off the bat.

The sad part about this is that the only way to really prove conclusively is to rip open some and make sure packs have legit cards in them. And even then that would prove one box but not necessarily the other five.

The second they put the knife into that seal and opened a flap that case is no longer considered a sealed factory case. That was what made this case (assuming it is legit) special in the first place. Now, best case scenario, he opens say one box inside that case and opens the packs to see what comes out and he’s left with five (we would assume are) legit factory sealed boxes. Still mega valuable but nowhere near as special as having the only known unmolested factory sealed case.

Maybe having the sealed case shouldn’t be as important as it is as the boxes themselves are the truly important items but that’s probably a separate debate.

While on the topic of what needs to be done, I agree, case, box, pack(s).

If a forger was smart enough they would have spent the funds to make sure each box had real packs on top (unopened) and if a check was done and open was opened, taking one off the top would still make it seem legit. Now that is IF the forger was smart enough. While they did put effort into this box (if fake) they missed steps and details so maybe they are not that bright.

What would be best imo is case/box/bottom pack search! Screw the top, top is obvious.
