How do you normally watch paint dry?

Man, each set of episodes just keep ratcheting up the intensity. Episode 8 is the most intense 50 minutes of Star Wars ever created in my book. If you watch this and don't feel anything, I don't even know what to tell you. This show continues to blow me away

Wrong.
Something, something, paint dry.

Eight and nine were great episodes. Looking forward to next week, but also bummed that that's it.

***SPOILERS***

Yet another time jump. Not surprising since there’s not much going on. Lots of emoting, shouting, heroic posing and glaring but little things like character development are skipped over entirely. Cassian is becoming a leader! Really? Why not show us instead.

Very obvious (and kind of lazy on the part of the writers) that Ghorman is standing in for France, even down to the 17th century apartments. This week we get a massacre with shades of Oradour-sur-Glane. I wonder how many fans shed a tear at the loss of fictional life in the Star Wars universe but have totally forgotten WWII.

Prolly a lot, but they may yet get a crack at themselves being in World War III.

I mean, that's kind of the point. If someone watches this and misses the direct and obvious parallels with world history and present day current events, you're entirely missing the point

Terrific finish. I'm glad that several of the characters made it through so they could appear again in future projects. We'll probably watch "Rogue One" tomorrow to see how it all ties together with the new information.

Great ending. I am fully a Kleya simp, she has been the breakout star of the show.

Yeah we never see Kleya, Vel, or Wilmon show up in anything else down the road. Plus the baby...

They unfortunately chose to diminish Luthen character to elevate the other character. Luthen should have been able to get the job done with more precision so to speak there when talking to the ISB Lieutenant.

Last few frames relied on an unnecessary cheap heart whelming trick.

The Raddus lines were so out of character. He was the last person at the round table who should have spoken what he said. In R1 he was the first one to return to his ship, first one to say "we need to fight now [...] I say we fight". Here they made him accusatory of Luthen and the most hesitant to act.

It made what happened to end the last 3 episode arc make so much more sense, it really seems like work trying to find things to pick apart in Andor.

Sure, but it wasn't the only way for it to make sense, and not everything has to always be served on a silver platter to the viewer. These fine decisions at the end of the day decide between the show being very good, great or GOAT.

Maybe it's because I hoped it was the case while thinking about it since last week that I liked it so much.

Something funny I'll share, spoiler alert:
I watched a reaction video to last night's episodes where the person claimed they thought Kleya was breaking into the hospital to SAVE Luthen. Some people need things spelled out very clearly.

I did not object to the stuff at the end, especially considering that we know what happens to Cassian in a week or so. That stuff is present in a lot of great shows, the main one that comes to mind where it's not present might be The Sopranos.

Loved all of it.

K2 saving the Cassian, Melchi, and Kleya was pure awesomeness.

And, the nod to Tivik on Kafrene from R1 was smooth.

This show is officially one of my favorite shows of all time. It's that good. I have nothing else to add

I finally got to the last 3 episodes tonight. Absolutely thrilling. I think the best part was seeing Deidra in prison.

Season 1: Meticulous character development, focusing on the psychological and emotional journeys not only of Cassian but also his Imperial counterparts. Everything you didn’t expect from the typical D+ Star Wars fare.

Season 2: Covers the entire timeline leading up to Rogue One, resulting in character arcs that are more squished than a PB&J sandwich manhandled by a toddler. Basically a bunch of fan service strung together with some BBY title cards.

Final scene: Lipstick on a pig, complete with the cliched wheat fields. If Bix’s hands were free, she’d be running them over the grass like Maximus.

Maybe you'll like Season 3 better.
It's said to be twelve episodes depicting the 10 minutes before Andor meets Jyn Erso.

I honestly think much of that feeling has to do with the fact that they planned to do more seasons and then canceled it. It did seem at times that the story got rushed. Then again, you already have much of the story told in Rebels too so you'd have to be careful not to mix Andor into that established storyline.
