Looks like mostly Breaker boxes - all refractors and autos.

Those auto names scare me. Haha. Still gonna rip mine when I get them though.

A couple thoughts:

(1) Base design reminds me of Topps Finest

(2) I need to review the checklist but some good (non-Alvarez/Djokovic) names (group break eBay listings) went/going for low prices. Those might be the value plays for this product (either group break or singles).

Panini can't catch a break lol they probably paid Sinner insanely well too given he was the only big-name left.

Funny how this "coincidence" happens during the mist of Sinner's best year ever and when he hits #1 lol must of been some strong spray for the amount you'd put on a finger wound to make Sinner test positive TWICE lol luckily it wasn't Novak so people will believe the story.

That goes for every product in existence these days, you can't provide a hobby box in 2024 where it's more intelligent ripping than buying singles. You're right but it's odd when people post this as if it is exclusive to the product being discussed.

The break wasn't good but was better comparatively to a lot of the autos I've seen in Topps Chrome Jumbo baseball for example, Clijsters and Kalinskaya both have larger fanbases than the no-name pitcher autos you pull half the time. Honestly was expecting names I had never even heard of, again not saying singles aren't the way to go but they are for every product so you would be opening nothing lol this will still be a win to those who pull the big names same as it is for every product.


EDIT: Design wise I like this a bit better than 2021, I'd love a Stadium-Club chrome type product though with full backgrounds instead of designs and strong action shots. The "Captured" Polaroid style cards are some of my favourites, a gold refractor set of those with the trophy in the background would look great

Kim Clijsters auto may have been the highlight

It’s really a $100-$125 a box product. I love ripping but singles are the way with this.

This is more of a group break than personal break product. You won't see nearly as many collectors ripping this product as TC Olympic because there's not nearly as much value in it as there was in TC Olympic.

In other words, less wax ripped (at least initially). The irony is that, with less wax ripped, there's the possibility of singles selling for more than they should (including low-to-mid-end players) for a period of time. With higher than expected singles sales, more people might be drawn into ripping hobby boxes (at their overvalued price-point) until singles prices drop (as they generally do once a lot of wax is ripped). So, for those ripping and listing early (as you plan to do), you might not do as bad as you would've had hobby prices been priced more reasonably.

There's been a number of great-value products over the past 12 months where you could've paid MSRP and ripped at release and done well. Some examples are: 2023 Topps WBC, 2024 Topps Chrome Olympic and 2024 Topps Chrome Star Wars.

There's no denying that the checklist for this tennis product is better than the last TC tennis product. But with the current odds and price-point, it's still a massive fail. Another overpriced product that had so much potential if the print-run and price-point were lower.

Maybe someday there'll be a good Topps tennis product. Today, unfortunately, isn't that day. On the bright side, there's so much of this product that there's a good chance we'll see better prices in the future.
