IF I were Fanatics, I could really put on a good show by doing a "live" online drawing for all of the autos and parallels..the Durants, the Currys, and then the biggest of them all, the triple..

Do it live on YouTube, print out tickets with everyone's name/account on them that ordered the cards..draw the tickets out like local lotteries do for the pick 3/pick 4 numbers on TV. Start with the parallels numbered out of 199, work your way down to the 1/1 parallel, then draw for the autos /10, /5, /1..they could go Durant cards first, then Curry cards, then the triple card. It would take a few hours, but it would be more fun on a Saturday night than watching someone break boxes of Pro Debut baseball. The viewership would be huge.

No way they would do this. It makes too much sense.

Hey I tried to get a summer thread about actual important games and players going, got one random comment about a Spurs game not in the compilation. Should have probably done a thread called Wemby Gone Wild.

While everyone is salivating over $1,800 Select football boxes I'm buying up key Nesmith rookie sparkle for $30 all in. Just saw the Jalen Smith Origins 1/1 booklet RPA go for $150. So much value if you take an ecosystem approach to collecting. People used to pay $200 for a Suns spot in an Origins break and are still doing the same with today's equivalent rookies.

I’m guessing topps is doing this so they won’t be accused of playing favorites. Then again, they will still know who they are sending the one special pack to.

I am hopeful that any card in a pack is already in their single card plastic case.

If you don't hit the 1/1, you'll get an early premium sale.

And no point in flipping it sealed unless you're getting a 4-figure offer IMO, even then, hard to pass up the opportunity of possibly hitting a $500k+ card.

On a side note, I wonder how many packs were created. Probably hard to deduce if they added some non-numbered) parallels.

Hahaha! At least that's what I've told myself if I'm lucky enough to receive a pack (even if I miss out on the early listing premiums).

I hope you hit a nice card but don't hit the 1/1 (unless I don't get a pack, then hit whatever lol)! :P
